教材分析

本课是PEP小学英语五年级下册Look at the Monkeys中的第一课时,主要学习flying,walking,jumping,running,swimming和Look at the…. It’s…. The…. is….

学情分析

五年级学生已学过很多有关动物的单词,从五年级下学期第三单元A、B部分的read and write开始出现现在进行时,第四单元学生正式学习现在进行时,到第五单元时,学生基本会用现在进行时描述某人正在做什么。

教学目标

认知目标

1、能听、说、读、写以下动词短语的ing形式。如:flying,walking,jumping,running,

swimming .

2、能运用所学句子来描述动物正在做什么。

能力目标

培养学生的口头表达能力和独立做事的能力。

情感目标

教育学生要热爱动物,为保护动物做些力所能及的事,同时把《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法渗透到英语课堂教学中。

教学重、难点

重点:灵活运用五个动词短语的ing形式来进行简单表达。

突破方法:1、通过引导学生表演动作来学习操练flying,walking,jumping,running,swimming .

2、通过播放课件,让学生亲眼看到动物所进行的活动。

难点:单词running和swimming的拼写。

突破方法:让学生通过观察、比较,自己发现规律,在交流中总结、掌握单词。

教法与学法

直观教学法、示范法、表演法、游戏法。

课前准备

所学动物名称的单词卡、多媒体课件、画纸、画笔等。

教学过程

Step 1:Warm—up

1、师生问好,

2、Let’s sing.

3、Let’s chant.

4、教师做动物动作,学生猜动物单词。

5、师生一起做三年级上册Unit4 A Let’s do.

6、出示动物单词卡,学生读动物单词。

Step 2: Presentation

Let’s learn

1、教师播放多媒体课件,画面上飞来一只鸟,教师指着小鸟问:What’s this?学生回答:

It’s a bird后。教师说:Look at the bird ! It’s flying . The bird is flying .强调flying 并教flying,示意学生一边做飞的动作,一边用升降调说flying ,flying. 同时板书:flying .

2、播放课件,一头大象一直在走,教师问:What’s this ?学生回答:It’s an elephant后。

教师说:Look at the elephant !It’s….(学生看大象一直在走补充说walking .) 教师说:The elephant is walking . 示意学生一边做走的动作,一边用升降调说:walking,walking,同时板书:walking .

3、多媒体出示一只兔子,问学生:What’s this ?学生回答:It’s a rabbit后,教师说; Look at

the rabbit ! It’s…( 示意学生补充说:walking .) 教师说:The rabbit is jumping . 示意学生一边做跳的动作,一边用升降调说:jumping,jumping .同时板书:jumping .

4、多媒体出示一只老虎,问学生:What’s this ?学生回答:It’s a tiger后,教师说; Look at

the tiger ! It’s…( 示意学生补充说:running .) 教师说:The tiger is running . 示意学生一边做跑的动作,一边用升降调说:running,running. 同时板书; running .

5、多媒体出示一条鱼在游来游去,问学生:What’s this ?学生回答:It’s a fish后,教师说;

Look at the fish ! It’s…( 示意学生补充说:swimming .) 教师说:The fish is swimming .

示意学生一边做游泳的动作,一边用升降调说:swimming ,swimming .

6、师生一起边做动作边读五个动词短语后,请学生观察、比较,自己发现规律,在交流中

总结、掌握running 和swimming的拼写。

Step 3: Practice

1、游戏:

(1)教师做飞的动作,学生说flying ,教师示范后进行四人小组活动2分钟(一人做飞的动作,其余三人说flying) ,请学生上台做飞的动作,全班说flying .

(此环节每组分别请2名学生)。

2、Ask and answer

出示Let’s learn 图,教师问。每个问题分别请多名学生看图回答。

1.What is the bird doing?

2.What is the elephant doing?

3.What is the rabbit doing?

4.What is the tiger doing?

5.What is the fish doing?

3、出示Let’s learn,学生读。

4、学生用书第58页,请学生用手指着读,努力做到四到:眼到、手到、口到、心到。

5、师生一起边做动作边说唱教师自编的Chant,巩固所学的Let’s learn .

6、Draw and say

(1)请学生拿出课前准备好的纸和笔,画自己最喜爱的动物,画好后学生展示自己的画画。

(2)教师手拿一个学生的画(大象)示范说:Look at the elephant !It’s walking .The elephant is walking .I love elephants .

(3)学生进行四人小组活动2分钟,每组分别请二名学生上台展示自己的画画并说:Look at the…. It’s…. The…. is…. I love….

Step 4:渗透法制。

1、教师说:Wonderful!Wonderful!同学们都喜欢动物,我也喜欢,我们人类和动物都是地球这个大家庭中的一员,动物是我们的朋友,我们离不开动物,可是我们的很多动物朋友几乎没有见过,比如:熊猫、猴子、大象、老虎等这些野生动物,提问学生:我们在哪里见过?引导学生回答:电视上、电脑上(网上)、动物园、报纸上等。教师又问:我们为什么只能从电视上、电脑上、动物园、报纸上才能看见它们?我们平时为什么没有看见它们?引导学生回答:1、这些动物本来就少。

2、人们破坏了动物的生存环境。

3、人们非法捕杀动物。

2、教师小结,把《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》引入课堂。

因为人们破坏了动物的生存环境,非法捕杀动物,所以很多动物在不断的减少,有的濒临灭亡,为了保护这些稀有的动物,人们不仅要对它们进行保护,还要给予它们合适的生存环境。因此,国家制定了相关的法律法规,我们一起来了解,OK?出示《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》

第二章野生动物保护

第八条国家保护野生动物及其生存环境,禁止任何单位和个人非法猎捕或者破坏。

第四章法律责任

第三十一条非法捕杀国家重点保护野生动物的,依照关于惩治捕杀国家重点保护的珍贵、濒危野生动物犯罪的补充规定追究刑事责任。

3、教师总结

我们知道了破坏动物的生存环境和非法捕杀动物都要追究刑事责任,保护动物,人人有责,提问学生:那我们小学生平时在生活中应该怎样保护动物呢?引导学生回答:

1、要爱惜动物。

2、不猎杀动物。

3、保护动物的生存环境。

4、看见有人破坏动物的生

存环境我们要劝说。5看见有人猎杀动物我们要阻止,我们阻止不了的,还可以打110报警。

4、教师充满激情的发起号召——保护动物从我做起,今后我们一定要为保护动物做些力所能及的事,OK ?
