FEASIBILITY CONCLUSION

Customer Program:

Supplier Duns #:Supplier Name:Can the product be manufactured without incurring any unusual costs for capital equipment / investment?Tooling for this component will be made at a tool shop that will not require overseas delivery of the tool to the supplier's manufacturing location? If "No" to # 7, will the supplier have a dedicated tooling engineer at the tool shop to monitor and verify the quality of the tool build? If "No" to # 7 AND the supplier does not have it's own tool repair capability, has a tool shop near the supplier's manufacturing location been identified to work on the tool once it is delivered and put into production?Does the Inteva drawing require statistical process control on the product?Does the supplier know and understand how / where the part will be used in the Inteva and/or End Customer's Application?

Does the supplier know the end user (e.g. VW, GM, Navistar, PACCAR, Mercedes, etc.) Customer Specific Requirements for the specific Customer program this part will be used on?

If “No” to #10, supplier agrees to identify “internal” Special Characteristics and add them to Control Plan?

Can product be manufactured to tolerances specified on drawing?

Can Safety/Regulatory Characteristics for the product be manufactured to meet the Initial Process Capability requirement: index >= 2.00 ?Can Key Characteristics for the product be manufactured to meet the Initial Process Capability requirement: index >= 1.67 ?

Manufacturing Feasibility Consideration

Feasibility Considerations

Our product quality planning team has considered the following questions, not intended to be all-inclusive in performing a feasibility evaluation. The drawings and/or specifications provided have been used as a basis for analyzing our ability to meet all specified requirements. The supplier understands that the purpose of this commitment is to document the supplier's capability to meet the design and the Customer Specific Requirements provided to the supplier.

FOR ANY "NO" ANSWERS, the applicable line item # on the Remarks/Concerns Sheet (page 2) must be completed, including proposed changes that would enable the specified requirement(s) to be met.

Supplier agrees to Inteva’s “Supplier Requirements Manual”?

Capacity analysis projections indicate adequate tooling capacity, equipment capacity, and machine loading available to produce product? Can the product be manufactured without rework or offline processing?

Can the product be manufactured without incurring any unusual costs for tooling?

Can Key Characteristics for the product be manufactured to meet the Long Term Process Capability requirement: Cpk >= 1.33 ?

Does the product require gaging or a check fixture?

For similar products currently produced that require statistical control, are the Key Characteristics normally distributed, is the process in statistical control and are the Cpk’s >= 1.33 ?

Can Safety/Regulatory Characteristics for the product be manufactured to meet the Long Term Process Capability requirement: Cpk >= 1.67 ?

Shipments from the supplier's manufacturing location WILL NOT require overseas transportation by boat or airplane? If "No" to # 21, will the supplier have a warehouse capable of delivering parts by truck within 2 days to the Inteva receiving plant?

Feasible with Exceptions Name:

For similar products currently produced that require statistical control, are the Safety/Regulatory Characteristics normally distributed, is the process in statistical control and are the Cpk’s >= 1.67 ?Not Feasible

SUPPLIER TEAM FEASIBILITY COMMITMENT

Does the design allow the use of efficient material handling techniques?

Is the GD&T on the Inteva drawing understood and agreed upon? Can Engineering Performance Specifications be met as written? Is product adequately defined (application requirements, etc.) to enable feasibility evaluation?Feasible
