浅析牛津高中英语模块七教材的整合利用 陈二丰红星中学 摘要:笔者在牛津高中英语选修七的教学过程中,发现为复习迎接高中学业水平测试,模块七的日常教学任务变重,且时间也比较紧。因此注重教材使用过程中的整合就比较必要了。本文通过笔者在牛津模块七(下文简称模块七)教材中的教学实践,初步探讨如何对教材进行整合运用。 关键词:牛津英语模块七整合案例 教材整合,就是教师根据自己的教学实际情况,面对自己学生接受知识的实际能力,把英语每个单元的教学环节加以重新整合。教育部《英语课程标准》研制核心组专家刘兆义明确阐述新课程改革的核心理念是“一切为了学生的发展”,即“基于学生发展,关于学生发展,为了学生发展。”新颁布的英语课程标准也提出:“在英语教学中,除了合理有效的使用教科书外,还应该积极利用其他课程资源……”。在新课程理念下,课本不是教学的全部内容,教材是可变的、发展的和开放的。而现在使用的牛津教材提供了大量的适合学生兴趣和年龄的内容,在教材的整合中老师只要设置好与教材相关的内容,辅助学生更好的理解所学的知识,注重提出学生感兴趣的话题,让他们由被动的学习英语变成主动的积极的去感受英语。这样的整合就能比较好地培养了学生实际运用语言的能力。也能促进每个学生身心健康发展,实现主动参与,探究发展,交流合作的学习方式,

改变过去教学中教师过分依赖教材,过于强调接受学习,死记硬背,机械训练的现象。 笔者根据模块七教材中的教学实践,以以下案例探讨如何对教材进行整合利用。 一、教学内容的调整和组合。 根据学生的认知特点、心理特点和教学的实际情况,教师可对教材内容的顺序进行适当的调整,使其符合学生的兴趣和能力发展,以引导学生更有效地学习。 1. 单元之间的调整:单元之间的调整主要是根据学生的认知特点,对单元的安排进行重新调整,使之更有利于学生知识的掌握。 在模块七 unit1 Reading :TV and audio devices: a review中,reading strategy 的内容是understanding subtitles。旨在让学生通过对副标题的理解来快速把握文章主旨。本单元的文章结构根据副标题分别是:early history of TV; the modern age: cable TV, satellite TV , digital TV…;early history of audio devices; tape recorders and players; sound goes digital. 学生可以根据副标题轻松地划出文章结构,理解文章主旨。笔者在设计教学过程中,把模块七的P19,P34,P46, P62 页的文章提出来,让学生根据副标题猜测文章的主旨。这些页上的标题和副标题分别是: P19 Title:Two life-saving medicines; Subtitles: ASPIRIN , PENICILIN. 《牛津高中英语》新教材之解析 发表时间:2010-02-06T11:56:18.187Z 来源:《中学课程辅导·教学研究》2010年第4期供稿作者:葛俊[导读] 本文结合笔者的教学实践对《牛津高中英语》教材进行了详细的解析。 摘要:随着新课程标准的实施,丰富多彩的学习内容提高了学生的学习兴趣,形式多样的活动活跃了课堂气氛。本文结合笔者的教学实践对《牛津高中英语》教材进行了详细的解析。 关键词:《牛津高中英语》;单词量;因材施教;两极分化 作者简介:葛俊,任教于江苏省扬州市瓜洲中学。 自新课程标准实施以来,笔者坚持学习新《英语课程标准》,努力以新课程理念指导教学,做了一些有益的尝试。丰富多彩的学习内容提高了学生的学习兴趣,形式多样的活动活跃了课堂气氛,教师角色的转变拉近了师生的距离,宽松愉快的学习氛围减轻了学生的学习负担。 笔者欣喜的看着课程改革带来的每一点进步,但同时也不断地遇到一些新情况、新问题,于是笔者边探索边前进,在探索中前进,在痛苦中成长。下面是笔者对《牛津高中英语》新教材教学的一些认识。 一、解决词汇量对学生的压力 我们扬州市使用的是《牛津高中英语》教材,这套教材每册大概有五百个单词,但是课后练习中出现大量生词。学生面临的最大困难和压力就是词汇,而词汇是高一年级教学的重点,只有打好了词汇基础,才有可能在阅读、写作等方面驾驭自如。 在词汇量较大时,要把握好教学的尺度,重点检测基础词汇,对不同类型的单词,可以有不同的要求,避免学生负担过重,失去学习英语的兴趣。 在教学过程中,可以教会学生音标和拼读规则,可以适当补充一些构词法等方面的知识来帮助学生记忆单词。 检测单词可以采用多种形式:单词竞赛、单词的中英互译、根据单词的首字母填空、短文选词填空、短文缺词填空等等。 英语教学的最终目的是让学生学会用语言知识来做事情,而不仅是学会一些词汇等。所以笔者认为,进行教学和检查学生单词掌握的情况,应以句子为最小单位,而不应以单词为单位。以交际为目的的外语教学应以句子为基础,整句学、整句用,多练句子,单词自然也学会了,而且还有利于掌握正确的语音语调。从心理学的观点看,记忆在意义上有联系的东西要优于无联系的东西。检查单词掌握的情况,可以采用听写句子、回答问题、补全对话、看图描述方法进行。虽然费时间,但从长远的观点来看,是大有裨益的。 二、处理超前语言现象 高一《牛津高中英语》教材中出现了大量的语法现象,如:定语从句、情态动词的推测用法、虚拟语气、倒装句等,而情态动词的推测用法、倒装句是我们老教材中高二才讲的语法项目,虚拟语气则是英语大纲中明确规定高考不考的语法项目。笔者认为,在高一阶段应尽量不要对语法规则作系统的讲解。 三、帮助学生巩固所学知识 1.培养联想记忆的习惯 语言是一种习惯,学习外语的方法也是一种习惯。教学中的重要一环就是要教会学生如何去学。高中阶段应通过构词法、语音的拼写规则等方法来学习单词和句子,使学生一开始就养成联想记忆的习惯。学生掌握了一定量的语言材料后,就要在教学中尽量使用这些材料。但不是对已学材料的简单重复(当然重复也有必要),而是有机地重新组合,使学生在脑中所储存的语言信息也做频繁的再组合。为了培养学生这方面的习惯,每个学习阶段可以组织学生比赛,看谁组合的新句子多,哪怕是简单的替换也应给予鼓励。还可比赛看谁将课堂上学的东西运用到课外的多,目的是促成一种学习外语的小环境。 2.增加通过视觉获得记忆信息的比重 改变单一通过听觉系统学习语言的状况。在现代化的多媒体视听手段普及的情况下,应在课堂上充分利用多媒体形象生动的优势,这样一来可以激起学生们学习语言的兴趣与热情,二来可以扩大课堂的容量。 3.提倡背诵课文 由于许多班级学生人数多,每个班级学生英语基础参差不齐,仅仅在教师们指导下的课堂上所作的pair work是很难达到增加学生语言输入量的目的的。学生缺少口头使用所学语言材料的机会,课后更缺少让学生利用所学语言的背景,那么背诵就是一个行之有效的办法。而且要提倡出声背诵,这对于积累语言材料,培养语感都有很大作用。 4.引入竞争机制,鼓励学生用笔写 写作训练不仅能够帮助学生巩固所学到的单词、句型、语法等知识,而且还能够扩大他们的视野,提高他们的书面表达能力和阅读理解的能力,更好地体现“学中用,用中学”。 四、因材施教,给学生信心,减小两极分化 边巩固,边新授,稳打稳扎,夯实基础,减少差生面,努力不让一个学生掉队,这是我们的教学指导思想。因此笔者的做法是: 1.对知识点分层处理 A层是最基本的知识,要求学生人人掌握。 B层的知识要求稍高些,鼓励学生掌握(A、B层次内容在课堂教学、课后作业及练习中为重点)。 C层是课本上出现的较难知识,只要求学生理解,不要求掌握,课堂上也不重点处理,鼓励有能力的学生进一步钻研。 2.合理分层布置作业 如机械抄写,默写课文,坚持每天跟读磁带,建立读书卡,用重点词汇和句型造句,模仿课文写作,从学生作业中收集典型错误,作为改错作业等等。 3.做好综合评价,形成性评价与终结性评价相结合

牛津高中英语模块三第三单元 Back to the past Reading Lost civilizations 江苏省沭阳如东中学张长波 一、教学内容分析: 本案例是牛津高中英语教材模块三第三单元阅读的处理。本节课是以听、说、读为主的课文理解教学课。通过听课文,阅读课文和问答对文章进行初步理解。再通过列表比较和复述课文进一步理解课文,最后通过讨论深化主题。希望通过该课的学习,学生能够对失落的文明有所了解,并对人类文明的发展及如何保护人类的文化遗产做出探讨,同时培养学生综合运用语言及听说读写的能力。 二、学生学情分析: 教学对象为江苏高中一年级下学期学生,学生思维活跃。高一学生已经初步实现从具体思维向抽象思维的过渡。他们不满足于教科书上的知识,更希望能学到知识性和趣味性兼有的内容,从英语学习中获得更多的知识和能力。他们喜欢富有个性化的教学设计,喜欢接受新鲜事物。他们的学习自主性很强,不再认为英语的课堂学习很枯燥,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体。同时他们还主动扩展和利用学习资源(如电脑操作知识),从多渠道获取信息,并能用所获得的信息进行清楚有条理的表达。因此,设计这节课时,我充分考虑到学生的主体性,充分创造机会让学生拥有成功的喜悦,在和谐的氛围中探究并完成教学任务,让学生主动学习,学有所获。 三、设计思想(Thoughts on the design) Reading主要是了解人类历史上两个非常著名的失落的文明——意大利的庞贝合中国的楼兰。本文是一片旅行日志,笔者根据自己对教材的理解,紧扣单元主题设计了导入、头脑风暴、快速阅读、仔细阅读、巩固复述、拓展讨论、作业七个环节。在设计教学的过程中,运用复习‘文明’的定义作为本课的导入,激发学生兴趣。设计的任务由浅入深,环环相扣,并注重各教学环节的衔接。在整个教学过程始终贯穿人类文明这条主线,用图片的形式呈现Part B的词汇——温故知新,设计输入,激活记忆,借助于已学过的词汇建立起新旧知识之间的联系。以话题为中心重组教材。词汇教学离不开语境,设计一个中心话题,使教材为当堂的词汇教学所用,而不是按部就班地教教材。以词汇为主线展开教学,以运用为目标挖掘生成,创造机会促使学生运用目标词汇进行表达。以快乐为原则寓教于乐,促进学生在学习过程中的积极体验,从而达到多维的目标。

高中英语教学案例分析 王萃 摘要:在英语课程的改革中,方方面面都在提倡自主、合作与探究的学习方式,让学生成为学习的主人,使学生的主体意识、能动性和创造性不断得到发展。因此,培养学生自主、合作与探究的学习方式,是新课程改革中一个迫切的任务。 关键词:合作与探究英语阅读 一、前言 《牛津高中英语》Project是课堂教学的延伸和拓展,属于探究式学习,要求学生走出课堂,与同学分工合作。学生认真阅读所提供的阅读材料,从中得到启发,然后通过讨论、调查、专访、文献检索等活动,完成一个特定的课题。模块六第一单元Project的课题是Putting on a play.包括两个舞台剧:The invisible bench和The important papers。现将设计思路及教后反思与诸君交流,探讨如何让学生真正走出课堂、参与课堂、享受课堂。让学生参与“备课”,备教材在本课的两个舞台剧中,台词较为简单,但旁白和转场很多,人物表情和心理活动非常丰富。所以,同学们主要应在揣摩人物内心方面做足功课。 二、学生分析 根据《新课标》精神,高中英语教学要在培养学生的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养的基础上培养综合语言运用能力。因此,高二学年的英语教学将继续培养和优化学生的

英语学习方法,使他们能通过观察、体验、探究等主动学习的方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习策略,提高自主学习的能力。同时,还要关注学生的情感,提高他们的人文素养,提高他们独立思考和判断能力,培养创新精神和实践能力,增进跨文化理解和交际能力。 三、教材分析 该板块引导学生进行探究性学习,把英语听、说、读、写的训练从课堂内拓展到课堂外;它基于阅读文本,又超越文本信息。根据《课标》,《课标》在“使用建议”部分指出:教材内容、教学活动和教学方法应具有较大的灵活性和开放性。在不违背科学性原则的前提下,教材应该具有一定的弹性和伸缩性。允许使用者根据自己的实际需要,对教材内容进行适当的取舍和补充。因此,此教学设计着眼于把project 部分根据现在所教生源的实际情况,设当地化繁为简,让学生自己从两片喜剧中选择一个小组合作表演。并根据英语课程标准倡导的“任务型”教学途径,设计相应的教学任务,同时在整节课的教学设计中强化每个任务环节的有机结合。对学生而言,随着不同任务的转化,对他们构成了不同层次的挑战,以培养学生的综合语言运用能力,从而达到学以致用的目的。三是注重在语言材料的有效输入的基础上进行语言的有效输出。坚持先读(课文,课外阅读材料),后说(合作探讨如何表演),再演(完成舞台表演)的教学三部曲。 四、教学策略 该板块引导学生进行谈那就行学习,把英语听说读写的训练从课

牛津小学英语3A Un教学反思 【教学反思】 小学英语教学反思,本课是围绕服装来展开教学的。 我充分结合之前所学句型:Thisis…通过以旧带新,在my和your的基础上新授另外两个物主代词his和her。 学生在第一课时已初学了8个相关服装的词汇,shirt,T-shirt,blouse,sweater,coat,jacket,所以在第二课时开始,我就安排了简短的词汇复习。 学生通过介绍自己的物品,以及他人的物品,来操练句型:Look,thisis…that’s…在教学中,我请学生预先设计好衣服,通过用“Lookat…”来展示并介绍自己的设计,得到他人的评价It’snice.Hownice!It’ssmart.It’spretty.等教学内容,联系实际,便于学生记忆。同时结合做游戏,唱歌谣,听听做做等多种形式巩固了本课所学,并让学生自然习得本单元A部分的课文。 由于小学生注意力集中的时间较短,如何使各教学环节行之有效,如何让每一个学生都融入课堂,这意味着要关注每一个学生,使每一个学生都参与进来。在上课的时候,我尽量的关注着每一个角落的学生,采取单个练习,小组练习,男生操练,女生操练等多种形式让每一个学生都积极参与课堂的每一个环节。 总结本课教学情况,我觉得有以下几点需要在今后的教学中注意: 1.look/lookat…这个单词常常在课堂用语中用到,所以学起来应该比较顺利,但学生在运用的过程中肯定会混淆。 2.this/that这两个单词看来容易,但在发音上首先就遇到难题,th的发音对

中国人来说是个难点,更何况是孩子,在第一课时中,已专门区分过,所以第二课时相对比较好。其次这、那的关系学生常常分不清,再次thatis=that’s又是一个难点,太多学生会把它说成that’sis。 3.his/her这两个单词的意思学生能明白,但用起来就不会那么顺手,his 的读音又是个难点,学起来有困难,再把myyour这两个单词放一起搞,学生简直分不清到底是谁的了。 4.nice/smart/pretty这三个单词意思差不多,学生能领会,其中pretty的发音稍微难了点。 5.本课时容量较大,学生在新授的过程中有点累,所以对巨型的操练还不够到位,这个方面值得注意。 “努力创设开放、生动而有朝气的英语课堂”,这是《全日制义务教育英语课程标准》的一项基本实施建议,这一理念召唤和指引我们的英语课堂应该是一个充满生命活力的课堂,应该是教师在围绕学生发展而精心设计的基础上,充分运用自己的教育智慧,保持课堂的灵活性和开放性,让自己融入课堂,与学生一道,共同参与活动。我相信自己在今后的课堂教学中一定会基于这一理念,在课中精心创设尽量真实的语言环境,激发学生兴趣,让学生在感受,体验,参与、合作过程中来学习语言,感受用英语交流的乐趣和愉悦感,培养学生初步用英语进行交流的能力,为提高课堂教学的实效性而不断努力。
