(一)One possible version：
I was lucky to have been chosen to the International Students’ Exchange Program.
I studied in the US from September, 2009 to July, 2011 and I lived in a family whose landlord was Mr. Smith. I spent nearly two years studying in a public school in the beautiful York Town. The teachers there were strict but they had many ways to make their lessons lively and interesting. What impresses me most is that the Americans r espect their children, but they don’t spoil them. And the students don’t have much homework to do, so they are able to learn more freely by themselves.
(二)One possible version：
Born in a poor peasant’s family in Zibo, Shandong Province in 1931, Li Zhensheng graduated from Shandong Agriculture College in 1951. Since then, he has devoted himself to the research and development of high yield wheat and become a leading expert in this field. He has made great contributions to the development of China’s agriculture. For this reason, he was given the 2006 National Top Science and Technology Award and honored as the “Father of Rice” in China. He has donated his entire prize to poor students as financial assistance.
