2009年高考英语福建卷试卷难度适中，基本上以中档题和基础题为主，没有偏题、怪题，有较好的区分度，体现了“平稳过渡，稳中求进”的原则。本试卷的试题从语法和词汇知识、完形填空、阅读理解到写作，各部分的选材都与考生的日常生活息息相关，时代感强，体现了思想性、实用性和交际性。
一、试卷的总体结构
2009年高考英语福建卷在结构上与前几年基本一致，由第I卷和第II卷组成。第I卷是客观性试题，包括三部分：第一部分听力；第二部分英语知识运用（单项填空和完形填空）；第三部分阅读理解；第II卷为主观性试题，即第四部分写作，包括短文填词（为2009年新增题型，替代了前几年的短文改错）和书面表达。试卷的具体结构及时间安排见下表：

二、试题分类分析
第一部分听力
2009年高考英语福建卷仍然采用全国卷I的听力试题，语速中等，难度适中。听力题多以what, why, where等设问，其中以what提问的问题（共13题）占65%，主要检测考生通过听获取具体信息的能力，同时还检测考生根据听力内容判断说话人的身份，话语发生的时间场合以及概括说话人的话题要点等。具体设题参数如下：

据抽样统计，第3题，第5题，第19题，第20题学生失误率较高。失误原因主要是考生对信息的推理判断和捕捉信息的能力不到位。因此，根据上下文内容，对所听材料进行分析和判断的能力是训练学生听力时需注意加强的方面。
第二部分英语知识运用
第一节单项填空
单项填空题考点覆盖《2009年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试福建省（英语）考试说明》（以下简称《考试说明》）所要求的中学生应掌握的重要语法和基础知识。试题的特点是将语言知识的考查放在一个具体的语境中进行，突出交际性原则，其中以对话形式设题的就有4小题。具体考查项目如下：

据抽样统计，错误率最高的是第23题，第30题，其次是第31题，第32题，第33题，第35题。失分主要原因是考生的基础知识及综合运用能力较薄弱。部分试题解析（采用原卷题号，以下同）：

分析：答案A。本题错误率最高，主要是不少考生受插入语I guess 的干扰，没能看出 a challenge of 这一固定搭配。

分析：答案C。本题错误率也较高，surprisingly easy这里是“出乎意料的容易，很容易”。本题的突破口应是后面的那句A small step makes a big difference.所创设的语境。有的考生误选为A，主要原因是缺乏对词汇的准确理解，语感也不够强。
31. According to the library review, Shakespeare _______ his characters live through their language in his plays.

D. makes
分析：答案D。本题考查时态，讨论一个作家的业绩或作品，是一般性的介绍，用的是一般现在时。一些考生误选为B。

C. To remind
D. Having reminded
分析：答案B。本题考查非谓语动词，这里的Reminded与主句主语the manager之间是被动的关系。有的考生误选为A，仍是基本概念混淆。

分析：答案A。有的考生误选为B或C，没掌握好句式had just done …when…

分析：答案B。此句是But for引起的虚拟语气，这里是对过去的虚拟。所以，高三复习阶段要特别注意帮助学生梳理语法知识，引导学生打好扎实的语言基础，并加强学生在具体语境中语言综合运用能力的训练和培养。
第二节完形填空
2009年高考英语福建卷的完形填空是一篇夹叙夹议的文章，主题是家庭故事对儿童成长的教育意义——父母通过与孩子交流父辈们在经济危机或遇到困难时的奋斗经历，达到教育孩
子，帮助他们形成积极生活态度的目的。文章内容具有鲜明的时代感和现实教育意义，考点分布较广。

据抽样统计，错误率最高的是第51题，其次是第38题，第48题，第53题。失分主要原因是考生对上下文信息的整合能力不强。

分析：第51题错误率最高，正确答案是D；很多考生误选为A或C，是因为没有理解trick 的词义，这里应是“窍门，诀窍”。第53题答案是C；一些考生误选为A，是因为没有很好地
结合上下文以及词义辨析来推敲。因此，完形填空题要重视培养学生对长句的断句能力，培养学生根据上下文逻辑关系进行推理判断的能力。
第三部分阅读理解
2009年高考英语福建卷的阅读理解题材广泛，选材真实，语言地道，贴近生活，内容突出了时代性和文化性。

本题错误率最高的是第70题，其次是第60题，第73题等。
部分试题解析：
例如，第60题The first paragraph serves as a（n）.
A. explanation
B. introduction
C. comment
D. background.
原文第一段是：Foreign drivers will have a pay on-the-spot fines of up to ￡900 for breaking the traffic law to be carried our next month.这一句是新闻报道的导语，是文章的主题句，后面的几段是它的细节内容，所以正确答案是B。一些考生误选为C或D，一是对introduction；comment；background这几个名词的词义没有理解透彻，还有就是没有弄清楚第一段和后面的几段的关系。
又如，第70题Which of the following pictures best shows the way of finding the direction of
south?
分析：这一小题错误率最高。要答对此题就必须把原文所提到的相关的信息加以归纳，总结和升华。原文相关的信息是：
⑥ The mark nearest the stick will represent the shortest shadow, which is cast at midday, when the sun is highest in the sky and pointing to the exact south.
⑦ Pick a point in the distance along the line between the shortest shadow and the stick.
⑧ That point is south of where you are.
所以，答案应是A。很多考生误选为C。
再如，第73题The underlined words “tipping points” most p robably refer to ______.
A. freezing points
B. burning points
C. melting points
D. boiling points
原文相关的信息是：In his book, he had challenged readers to make deep cuts in personal emissions to keep the world from reaching extremely important tipping points, such as the melting （融化）of the ice sheets in Greenland or West Antarctica. “To stay below that point, we need to reduce CO2 emissions by 80 percent,” he said.
根据这两句话，可知文中的the melting（融化）of the ice sheets就是破题词。所以，答案应是C。因此，阅读理解题要训练学生捕捉信息、准确判断的能力，使他们能通过已知信息进行逻辑思维、推理判断。
第四部分写作
第一节短文填词
短文填词是2009年福建省高考英语卷新增的题型，替代了原来的短文改错题。它重点考查学生在整体语篇理解的基础上，综合运用英语语法、词汇以及正确拼写单词的能力。

分析：这篇短文填词错误率最高的是第76题“which i the following steps.”受思维定势的影响，很多学生写成including, 没有考虑它在此句中要充当谓语。其次是第79题，“…and finish our writing in the g time.”很多考生猜不出要填什么词，属于词汇短语储备不足，语感不强。第80题，grammar很多考生拼写出错。第82题“from beginning to end”是考查词组的固定搭配。第84题，考查非限定性定语从句中的关系代词，一些考生出错是因为根本没有意识到它是非限定性定语从句。
这篇短文的填词考生感觉较难，反映出的问题是：基本语法没掌握好；句法和词汇知识不够扎实；单词拼写不过关。
第二节书面表达
2009年福建省高考英语卷书面表达部分要求考生根据所提供的思路图，以“I want to Smile”为题写一篇英语短文。本题为半开放的命题方式，思路图只提供了写作的框架，不提供内容细节，给学生留出了较大的自主发挥的空间，从而避免了学生根据提供的内容要点进行机械翻译的现象，对学生的思维能力、应变能力和运用英语表达观点和真情实感的能力提出了更高的要求。
三、2010年高考复习建议
⒈科学合理地安排教学任务。为保障顺利完成高三教学任务，教师要根据本校学生的实际状况，设定恰当的教学目标，并将目标落实到课堂教学中去，重视基础知识、基本技能和基本思维方法的教学。教学进度安排必须有一定的灵活性，从学生的学习效果考虑，不盲目赶进度，该快则快，需慢则慢。一切为提高近期和远期的教学目标服务。集体备课的重点应放在设计教学过程上，研究突破重、难点及完成教学目标的策略上。每次考试后，依据学生答题的正答率，分析学生出错的原因，商讨讲评的方法，同时编写相应的练习题。
⒉加强学生学习方法的指导。学生进入高三感到压力颇大，教师要指导学生如何充分利用有限的学习时间科学合理地安排学习，制定长期和短期学习计划。进行专题强化训练，做好限时训练和做题策略的培训。加强学生的情感调动与激励，使学生始终保持昂扬的斗志。
⒊夯实语言基础知识。学好英语要有坚实的基础。词汇是英语学习和能力提高最重要的
基础之一。从应对高考来说，学生仍应把掌握《考试说明》附录词汇表Ⅰ和表Ⅱ中约2500个要求掌握的单词作为复习重点，如掌握最常见常用的动词、名词、形容词等的词组、短语、搭配、句型、构词、辨析等。要让学生在听、说、读、写的训练中科学学习、记忆词汇，有效掌握词汇。
语法复习既要进行单项专题训练，如动词时态、语态、情态动词、非谓语动词、句子结构等专项练习，也要进行一定量的综合性训练，如多类混合语法、词汇题及含多种题型的综合练习。讲练结合，练习力求多样化，尤其要多做一些有特定语境的综合练习，以便提高分对比、灵活运用语法知识的能力。
⒋强化听力和阅读训练。让学生每天都保证一定的时间进行听力强化训练并进行及时的点拨，培养学生综合获取信息要点及整体理解话语的含义，关注情感因素在口语表达中的重要作用。在平时的听力训练中教师应指出录音中应掌握的词组和句型，并指导学生听懂弦外之音，培养学生的判断和推理能力，加大理解能力的训练，指导学生边听边记关键词的应试技巧。
提高阅读能力，是高中阶段自始至终的目标。除了有量的积累，还要有质的飞跃。在保证阅读量的同时，加强阅读方法的指导。通过主旨题、推理判断题、词义猜测题、事实细节题的限时训练及点评促进学生能力的发展，要引导学生通过分析、比较进行总结、归纳、联想、概括、综合，由此及彼、由表及里、以点带面地思考、学习。
⒌提高写作能力。首先，每周保证学生完成一篇书面表达练习,并课内完成讲析。每次讲评先带领学生分析评分标准。使每个学生明确高考书面表达的评分标准。鼓励好的学生向高档分靠拢,使用较高级的词汇和复合句,有效地使用过渡词, 准确抓住内容要点。加强对学生书写基本功的训练，尤其是注意提高学生卷面的整洁度和字迹的工整程度。
其次，结合高考题型，总结出8个专题（即叙事类，人物描写类，议论文类，观点对比类，新闻报道类，图表类，看图叙述类，图片对比类）常用句子让学生背诵。每类型背诵2-3篇范文，然后用总复习的素材进行练笔。
