“依旧情深、节用惜福”市民学校活动顺利结束 2012年11月14日-17日，在寒冷的冬季到来之际，重庆邮电大学生物信息学院实践服务部联合绿叶义工，通信学院、光电学院、自动化学院和法学院开展“低碳同行，衣往情深”市民学校活动。生物信息学院负责对接崇文路社区，并在崇文路街道小区设置了三个站点，联合大一的五个支部安排志愿者轮流值班服务。 此次活动的地点安排在崇文路社区管辖的小区内，分别是：新世纪百货的楼下小区里、农贸市场附近的小区和社区警卫亭附近。并从社区办公室借来桌椅作为回收衣物的临时办公场所，利用由绿叶义工提供的展架和宣传单在小区内积极宣传。得助于社区袁老师的帮助，提前将活动进行通知，所以活动取得不错的成绩。 当展架架起、条幅展开的时侯，便有许多的老年人及过往的行人纷纷驻足观看。这些生物信息学院的青年志愿者们耐心而又礼貌地向大家介绍了行动的背景和目的，并向他们解释了旧衣物的去向，号召大家捐出自己不需要的衣服，为那些贫困地区送去一丝温暖。居民们了解到这一公益活动的时候，都很乐意献出自己的力量。热心的居民积极参加这次的“捐一件旧衣，献一片爱心”的活动，并慷慨地拿出自己不需要的衣物。大包小包的衣物，大双小双的鞋子，来了又去，去了又来的好心人，给了所有人无尽的感动。原来世界上不是缺少爱，而是缺少爱的表达方式。当然生物信息学院的志愿者们也很热心地帮助来捐献衣物的老奶奶和老爷爷提一袋又一袋沉重的衣服。尽管汗水浸湿了衣襟，步履沉重，可是一想到远处的孩子将因此而过一个温暖的冬季，身上就充满了力量。 每个站点都有志愿者同学静静等候着献爱心的居民。让志愿者们感到意外的是，竟有如此多的热心的居民，他们穿过一个又一个拐角，踏过一阶又一阶的楼梯，整理一件又一件的衣服，亲自将衣物送往值班地点。志愿者们心里的热情更是一浪高过一浪，激动并感动。 本次活动经过前期给力的宣传，使得越来越多的居民加入到这项公益活动中来。每一天、每个站点都收到了很多的旧衣物，五六个志愿者得来回两三趟才能搬完。五个学院历时四天时间九个站点共回收4.58吨衣物，其中生物学院占1/3的站点。
