▌Probationary Period

o The statutory Three Month Probationary Period will apply to this role. During this time you will receive advice, training and guidance to help you become

familiar with, and competent, in performing the work you have been appointed

to do. The appointment is subject to the satisfactory completion of the

Probationary Period which itself is subject to termination during any stage, by

either party, upon two week’s notice in writing, or by payment in lieu of notice.

▌The probation period shall be three (3) calendar months. During this period, either party could terminate by giving two (2) weeks notice or salary in lieu to the other

party.

Remuneration

Your salary in probation is at a rate of RM XXX(Confidential to all staff).

▌Payment

o Your salary will be paid by end of month not more than 7th next month.

Expenses

▌General Expenses

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX will reimburse to you all reasonable, pre-approved expenses incurred by you in the course of your duties with XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX on the production of legitimate tax receipts, vouchers or proof of payment as per the Company Expense Policy, which may be varied from time to time.

Leave Entitlements

▌Annual Leave

o You will be entitled to twelve (12) working days per annum for every calendar year services to be taken at a time or times convenient to the company after

confirmation.

▌Medical leave

o Upon confirmation, you are allowed a maximum sick leave of twelve (12) days per year with the production of medical certification by the Company’s

appointed doctor of from any government polyclinic. To increase to 18 days

after 2 years and 22 days after 5 years or more.

o Not confirmed staff any MC taken will be declare Unpaid leave ▌Compassionate Leave

o You are entitled to a period of 2 days paid compassionate leave for each occasion where a family member has died or you need to spend time with a

seriously ill family member. Each application will be assessed individually by

your Manager.

▌Long Service Leave

o You will be entitled to long service leave in line with the provisions of the appropriate legislation in your state.

Termination

You or the company may terminate your employment at any time giving

▌After confirmation, one (1) month’s written notice or salary in lieu of such notice must be given by either party to the other party.

▌Any outstanding leave shall not be taken into account in computing the period notice. The company may terminate your employment at any time without notice if: ▌you are guilty of serious misconduct (defined as breach of any employment related law or policies published by the company from time to time)

▌Absent without written notice 3 days in the row.

Following termination of your employment you will be required to return all company property. Also following termination of your employment you must not record confidential information in any form.

Hours of Work

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX general hours of business are between Mon – Friday 9.00am –6.00pm and Lunch strictly: 45 minutes– including prayer

It is expected that you will work an average of 40 hours per week during general business hours however; from time to time you will be required to work additional hours or after hours when necessary to perform your duties and responsibilities.

Privacy

You are required to observe and uphold all of the Company’s privacy policies and procedures as implemented or varied from time to time.

Collection, storage, access to and dissemination of employee personal information will be in accordance with the principles of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

Training

Confidentiality of Information

An employee is not permitted under any circumstances either directly or indirectly receive or accept any gift (s), favour (s), discount, gratuities, profit, concessionary offers or other inducement from any person or organization having business with the Company.

Where is considered impolite to refuse such gifts such as hampers or offers, the employee should, at first available opportunity, notify the HR Department of the gift. The HR Department will then advise on the necessary course of action.

Should an employee be caught receiving the above, disciplinary action will be taken including dismissal.

During your employment you may become aware of information relating to the business of the Company, including but not limited to client lists, trade secrets, client details and pricing structures.

GDNF has long been thought to be a potent neurotrophic factor for the survival of midbrain dopaminergic neurons, which are degenerated in Parkinson’s disease. In this paper, we report an unexpected, acute effect of GDNF on A-type potassium channels, leading to a potentiation of neuronal excitability, in the dopaminergic neurons in culture as well as in adult brain slices. Further, we show that GDNF regulates the K+ channels through a mechanism that involves activation of MAP kinase. Thus, this study has revealed, for the first time, an acute modulation of ion channels by GDNF. Our findings challenge the classic view of GDNF as a long-term survival factor for midbrain dopaminergic neurons, and suggest that the normal function of GDNF is to regulate neuronal excitability, and consequently dopamine release.
