Firstly, more employees means more work space and more computers, this is a large budget that the lecture didn,t include. Even thought they accept that they can be payed less if they go on the four-day workweek, the amount of work doesn't change. To fullfill the company's business goal, they need to hire more empolyees, therefore more private work space and computers and stuff like that are needed. Since the new employees take up the salary which the others gave up, the cost of the computer and workplace cannot be solved without investing more money.

Secondly, by reducing the work hour, one emploee's assignment cannot be accomplished as much as before, and then the leftover must be shifted to another employee. Also, with less time to work, the employees should work much harder than they used to be. This will lead to a high work expectations that make one's pressure more intense. How can a man live a good life under a huge stress? On the contrary to the lecture, less work time will oppositely lead to an unpleasant life than a better life which can improve one's work efficiency and make more benefits to the company.

Finally, as the competition is so high in the work market, one who just work for 4 days a week cannot match those who work as hard as they can and at least 5 days a week. Being less competitive, one cannot keep their job stability, and may be the first sacrifice of the job competition. Since the boss must give their credit to those who work 5 days a week other than those who work only 4 days a week. Therefore, the delegant ones get promoted for they can be relied on crucial tasks and they will supervise the company constantly with lower absense-error happening.

By standing guard, the sentinel meerkat gains nothing—it goes without food while the others eat, and it places itself in grave danger. After it issues an alarm, it has to flee alone, which might make it more at risk to a predator, since animals in groups are often able to work together to fend off a predator. So the altruistic sentinel behavior helps ensure the survival of other members of the meerkat’s group. Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they oppose specific points made in the reading passage. However, some archaeologists believe that the coin is not a genuine piece of historical evidence but a historical fake; they think that the coin was placed at the site recently by someone who wanted to mislead the public. There are three main reasons why some archaeologists believe that the coin is not genuine historical evidence. Great Distance from Norse Settlements First, the Native American site in Maine where the coin was discovered is located very far from other sites documenting a Norse presence in North America. Remains of Norse settlements have been discovered in far eastern Canada. The distance between the Maine site and the Norse settlements in Canada is more than a thousand kilometers, suggesting the coin has no real connection with the settlements. No Other Coins Found A second problem is that no other coins have been found at the Canadian sites that were inhabited by the Norse. This suggests that the Norse did not bring any silver coins with them to their North American settlements. Third, the Norse who traveled to North America would have understood that silver coins would most likely be useless to them. A job plan, manageable, precise and rational, is not only the bed rock of completing but also the guarantee of time-saving. For instance, preparing the material for the topic, researching some knowledge in the textbooks and discussing the task with the other students in group are the things that you can do even when you do not have any inspiration. So redistributing your plan can avoid wasting your time waiting. Second, good idea is always late for your deadline, a regret that can be eliminated by right-away action. The more time you waste on planning and considering your presentation, the less time you will have to revise and complete your assignment. Take my brother Jim for an example. He is a freshman in university and quite into the first presentation in the opening of semester. Spending the last 4 days engaging in assembling the ideas, he, with barely nothing innovative, has no time typing a practicing so that he needs to stay up late the last night to catch up in time. As a result, he can not hand in the presentation when the de adline comes and he is “booed” by audiences. However, she thinks that the “Let it burn”policy is fundamental positive policy, which contradicts what the reading states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her idea. First, the professor argues in the lecture that the fire enhanced the diversity of vegetation in Yellowstone Park, even though the reading passage suggests that Yellowstone fires caused tremendous damage to the park's trees and other vegetation.
