本单元中心话题是“transportation”,核心内容是用英语询问及回答“运用某种交通工具去某地”的表达法。此话题贴近学生的日常生活,能激发学生的学习兴趣,锻炼口语。作为本单元的第一课,它集中体现了该单元的重点词汇和目标语言,学生学好它能为后面的学习和语言交际扫清障碍,从而树立继续学习的自信心Part2 Analysis of the students

八年级的学生经过一年多的英语学习,新鲜感减少,畏惧感增加,但学生已具有一定的英语综合能力,也积累了一定的英语词汇量,如相关的交通工具名称。
