Module 1

模块教材分析

本模块是外语教学与研究出版社新标准英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第一模块的学习内容。Unit1 We lived in a small house.主要通过一位老奶奶向记者介绍中国很多年前和现在的生活状况、发生的变化及她的感受。通过学习,学生基本会用“ There was/were…”或“ There wasn't/ weren't…”来描述过去有或者没有什么;会用“ There is/are...”句型描述现在有什么。Unit2 She didn't have a television.通过学习 Lingling写给Daming的一封信,介绍过去的生活情况,训练了一般过去时态的用法。同时还要会用以前学过的动词,如:live,have及其它们的过去式来描述变化。was/were, wasn't/ weren't在四年级下学期已经接触过,学生并不陌生,但是如何正确使用这两组单词是教学的难点。本模块的教学内容在教材中起到了承上启下的作用,在承接以前学过的一些动词过去式的基础上,继续学习更多的动词过去式,为本册的学习奠定了基础。在学习新知的同时,可以让学生感受到中国的变化,激发他们的爱国热情,珍惜今天的幸福生活,从而达到既教书又育人的目的。

模块教学目标

1.知识目标

(1)学生能够听、说、认读单词: still,programme,lady,life, different,ago,enough,television,grandchildren,change.

(2)学生能够听、说、认读并会用句型“There weren't any…/There are lots of…;We lived in.../We live in...;We did n't have enough.../We have got lots of...”并了解它们的意思。(3)学生能够了解语篇内容并流利地朗读课文,语音、语调准确优美。

2.能力目标

(1)学生基本能运用所学句型表达生活中的变化

(2)学生能在创设的情境中有感情地分角色朗读课文。

(3)通过观察,让学生自己发现并总结如何描述事情的变化。

3.情感态度目标

(1)使学生在学习中感受中国的变化,激发他们的爱国热情,珍惜今天的幸福生活。

(2)课堂上通过教师对学生有针对性的评价,展现学生的英语风采,增强他们的自信心和成就感,提高其学习英语的积极性。

4.文化意识目标

通过对比学习中国过去与现在的不同,让学生感受中国的变化,激发他们的爱国热情,同时鼓励学生了解他国国情,体验中西方文化在国家发展史上的异同。

热身复习:

复习第一单元的内容。教师带领学生简单地复述本课有关中国变化的内容。也可根据前一节课老师布置的作业,让个别学生到前面来用英语谈论他或她的爷爷、奶奶、外公或外婆过去的生活与现在的生活。

设计意图:通过对上一课时的复习,让学生进一步巩固所学知识,感受今天的幸福生活,迅速切入本课的课文学习,为后续的学习做好充分的准备。

Step2Leading in

热身活动以后,教师告诉学生:Lingling watched a pro-gramme about china in England last night.She misses her grand-ma very much.So she wrote to Daming.Now let's listen to theletter.what did she write in it?

自从玲玲昨天在英国看了那个关于中国的节目,她就非常想念自己的奶奶,于是她写信给大明,讲述她看到的那个节目并倾诉她对亲人的思念。下面我们一起来听听她在信中是如何描述节目中那个老奶奶过去的生活的。在听的同时,请把你不认识的单词用下划线画出来。

(2)让学生看书,仔细听录音,思考字母组合发了什么音。老师把音标板书出来,并且教读。如果时间充足,可以拓展更多的单词练习,如果时间不足,练习就放在下节课的复习课上进行
