Honestly I haven?t thought about this much. The one and only great change I can think of now is leaving school. Look, after going to school for more than 16 years, all of my life has been so used to school, my daily schedule, my mindset, my social life, etc. The world outside the school seems so familiar and yet so strange. My feelings are mixed with ambition, hope, expectation, as well as uneasiness, insecurity and worries. It is such a difficult time. I am like a person lost in the no-man?s land, not knowing where to turn. Anyway, most people have to face this change once they leave school. It is a total challenge. But just as one great mind has once said, “life is always full of changes and uncertainties; we just do all that we can and hope for the best.”
2. Newspaper
As we all know, now most people enjoy reading newspapers in their spare time. Reading newspapers is a part of our daily life at present.
There are many different kinds of newspapers. According to their different publishing time, we call them daily papers, evening papers, weekly papers, and so on. Among these newspapers, the People's Daily, Guangming Daily and other national papers have more readers than the others. The People's Daily is the most important paper in our country. It is also the most popular one.
Newspapers can tell us the latest news concerning polities, economics and military affairs in our country and abroad. In the meantime, by reading newspapers, we can obtain more knowledge and broaden our outlook. With the rapid development of modern civilization, we must read newspapers in order to learn what is happening in our country and around the world, so that we can make greater progress toward the future.
3. Television
Television has its good as well as bad sides. It makes us informed of daily news, lets us know the outside world, provides lessons for learners, and it has brought joy and interest into people?s lives.
Unfortunately, some television programs have been extremely harmful to the young. Violent movies are shown on TV programs. Children regard the murders as heroes or models, so they imitate. Therefore there happened many murders or shooting cases in American campuses. What a big harm.
So young people should learn to get ride of the bad influences of TV and learn to make use of the advantages that TV brings us.
4. About TV Ads
Today more and more advertisements are seen on the TV screen. It's difficult to find a program without insertion of ads on TV. In a word, whether you like it or not, the advertisement pours into your life.
On one hand I think TV ads bring us much convenience and benefits. For manufacturers they
make their products known to consumers by advertisement, while for consumers, they can get from TV advertisements the first-hand information about new products, which enables them to make a decision quickly and to choose the one that they like best.
As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative. But of course some of them are not trustworthy. Therefore, I think it is really necessary to strengthen the control of advertisements and make them more attractive.
5. My favorite Course/ The Course I Like Best of the Long-distance Education
My favorite course (The course I like best of the Long-distance Education) is English. Maybe you?ll feel surprised because English is often considered to be the most difficult course. The reasons I like it are as follows: First of all my job is doing international trade and requires a higher level of spoken and written English. Learning English well, therefore, is very useful. Secondly I love Hollywood movies and English songs. Learning English helps me enjoy the movies and music better. The last reason I like it is that English is most widely used in the world. I love travlling and I notice that people in many places can speak English, which makes it convenient for me in other coutnries.
6. How to Achieve Success of Distance Learning
As is known to us all, with the development of the Internet technology,distance learning is popular among people, especially those who have no time to attend a normal course in school. It's believed that many of them go to an online school over the Internet. The distance learning is convenient because people can have classes at anytime. But how to achieve success of distance learning? You should do the following. First of all,you should make a plan for your distance learning. For example, you should download coursewares and study the lesson in time. Second, because there is no face-to-face teaching, you shoud put your questions online whenever you have them and also keep in touch with other students and exchange your study experience from time to time. Third, it's necessary for you to read books related to your courses. In short, distance learning requires strong self-control and good planning.

September the 10th is a day to remember. Because it?s a day to thank those who care us, teach us, and the most important, educate us to be useful to the society.
I still remember it clearly when I was denied the opportunity to participate in the writing contest, my heart sank. The frustration and sadness almost overwhelmed me as I felt I was discarded and I thought for sure I would never pick up my pen to write. At that time, my teacher gave me power and energy to regain my confidence. Immediate help and advice on writing were also offered, which made me realize my weakness and know how to improve.
Through the encouragement, I soon picked up my pen. And also I learned to enjoy writing instead of focusing on prize.
8. The Man I Love Most In My Life
Millions and thousand people we can meet in our life. But the most important one to us is our love. The man I love the most is my father.
He is not a super star or a scientist, and he is neither a doctor nor a teacher. For me, he is the man I loves in my life. Since the day when I birthed, he loves me, teaches me, and plays with me. He taught me what parent-love, what is a father is. Today is his birthday, what I want to say is: I love you, daddy, and forever.
9. My English Teacher
Mrs Yin, a beautiful young woman, who was one of my English teachers in high school, often had a face-to-face talk with me. When I came, she put out my paper and said: “ Mr Huang, you must pay more attention to your written English. I can not understand why your English is not poor, but written English is so bad.”
I can not say anything, because my paper was really bad. However, in fact, I spent much time on written English and did almost as she said. I read books again and again, and copied some good compositions. But, I can…t improve my written English every well.
Sometimes, when I made progress on written English, Mrs Yin was so happy and she did not forget to praise me and encourage me to do better. Though she spent much time on me, the result often did not go as we thought. I was very disappointed, so was she. It is my fault. Maybe I was really foolish.
Now, when it comes to written English, I will feel sorry to Mrs Yin, my good English teacher.
10. My Best workmate
My best workmate is a very lovely girl. Her name is Lucy. We cooperate with each other very happily. When we have a new task, firstly both of us will express our opinions of how to do it. Then we will have a discussion and make a detailed plan of what she and I should do separately to finish the task. Afterwards, we will try our best to do our own job. Lucy is really hardworking and careful. She will always finish her task perfectly. I will try my best too. We always do a good job in our cooperation. To work with her is quite a happy thing.
11. Health and Wealth
Which is more important, wealth or health? Different people have different opinions.
Some people prefer wealth, holding that money can not bring everything, but without it, one can do nothing. In order to get more money they can do anything. However, other people regard health as more important. Once health is lost, it is no use having a lot of money.
As far as I am concerned, I love wealth, but I value health more. Everybody wants to live a happy life. So they try their best to earn money which they can ensure they lead a comfortable life, but if happiness and comfort are achieved at the cost of their health, how can they be happy
Without health money becomes meaningless.
In my opinion, no one agrees that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. So, just do our best and keep fit.
12. Travel Arrangement
If I have a five-day holiday, I am planning to go to Australia. On the 1st day, I would like to visit Sydney for the well-known Sydney Opera House. It is like a shell lying in the bay.
Then, I will go to Melbourne by train. It is the trading center of Australia, and what is more, the best college in Australia, the Melbourne University, is located there. It ranks the 22nd in the world college billboard. It is such a wonderful chance for us students to pay a visit to the great academy, hoping that one day in the future I will grasp the opportunity of studying there through hardworking.
13. An Unforgettable Experience
Among many exam experiences, I still remember what happened in the final exam last term.
In the past I always felt nervous at the beginning of exams. And because of this, I never gave the best performance. But in the last final exam, when I got the paper, I was surprised to see some warm words on the paper, "Hi, everyone. Believe in yourself and you will do best. Good luck." Seeing these words, the feeling of nervousness soon disappeared and I became confident. I did best that time.
Ever since then, whenever I have exams, these simple but warm words always encourage me and make me feel confident.
14. About transportation
In a modern city, there are many kinds of transportation, such as subway, taxi, bus and so on. But my favorite means of transportation is by bike.

We have studied in Songpu High School for several months. When I first went into the school gate and saw my new classroom and teachers I thought I would have a new start. The school life is very busy and exciting. There are many activities in our school, such as Sports Meeting, Science Week, Art Week and so on. We all take an active part in it . I have made many new friends and we often help and learn from each other in study. Our teachers have taught us a lot. They not only teach us how to study but also teach us how to be a useful person in society. They often remind us to develop good habits in study and everyday life.

I have been in the college for one year. My college life here is pretty .
The teachers in my college are very knowledge. They not only teach me what?s on the textbooks, but also show me how to be a good person. The major courses as well as optional courses enhance my knowledge and broaden my views. Besides, the library of our university provides me with books and resources so that I can read extensively.
Besides getting good education here, I also take part in many after-school activities. For example, I am a player on the university football team, and I also do some volunteer work at weekends.
Sports are my favorite, such as jogging, basketball, swimming, tennis, table tennis, soccer, badminton and so on. They help me relax after class and build a strong body.

21. How I Use My Dictionary
When I am reading some English books, I inevitably come across many new words. But how can I understand these new words better? I always turn to an English-Chinese dictionary for help.
Here are some rules I follow when I use my dictionary.
First, since all the English words are arranged in the alphabetical order, I look for the new words in the dictionary according to their first alphabets. For example, the word “able”can be found in the beginning of the dictionary while “zoo” can be found on the last pages of it. Secondly, when I look up the new words, I not only pay attention to their meanings, but also their pronunciation and synonyms.
If we can make good use of our dictionary, we can learn and benefit a lot from it.
22. Interest Is the Best Teacher(兴趣是最好的老师)
I was not able to get high marks when I was in primary school. Teachers didn?t like me because I was not a good student. Mother considered me as a bad kid. They hurt me by thinking I am a retarded child. But I am no fool. Almost all of my paintings were showed in public. Many famous artists had praised me for my paintings. They called me "little prodigy". And dad was on my side too. He encouraged me to do what I liked and what I thought was proper. What are the benefits of honesty？If you are honest to others，they will be honest to you in return. When you are sad，they will comfort you. When you are in trouble，they will help you.
