关于英语专业研究生的准备
昨天有个学弟问我关于考研的一些事，考虑到可能还有很多其他英语专业的学弟和学妹们现在正为这个事烦恼，我就在这里笼而统之地说一下关于我们英语专业考研的事，希望对大家有所帮助。
1.
关于学校的选择
究竟考哪个学校?固然要考虑这个学校本身的实力,也要考虑自己的水平.不要凭空去感觉自己适合哪一个学校.去做一些这些学校的真题.中国石化出版社出了一本<基础英语真题解析>,里面有不少学校的试题,可以让你们试试深浅.
另一方面也要对各个学校的出题方向有所比较,比如有的学校只考语言学和文学,如大外,有的学校既考基础英语,又考文学和语言学,这一点后面会详细说一下,这里就不赘述了.
最后,还要结合考虑自己将来的方向.考研对有些人来说是个缓冲,对另一些人来说是跳板,因为英语专业的研究生的价值就在于方便从教.想当高校的教师现在来看是要求博士(男生也许可以幸免).所以硕士不是终点,为了方便将来读博,最好选择设有博士点的高校,可以有直升的机会.据我所知,华中地区仅华中师范大学有英语专业的博士点,英语专业全国仅十个博士点(在网上看到的,不过不知道是哪年的统计了,大家可以再去找一下),其中有河南大学,我现在回头看觉得这个学校除了地理位置不太好之外,专业配置没话说,(就英语专业而言.)专业设置好,考的人又不是爆多,这样的学校很难得,不过也许那里的东西不怎么合我们这边人的口味,气候什么的也难得适应,所以还是综合考虑啦!

关于各个学校
因为是武汉这边对武汉比较熟,所以从华中地区的高校说起吧!
华中师范大学
这个学校的英语专业全国排名前十的,当然啦,有博士点啦.我个人认为英语专业华师是华中地区的老大,历史又久,也有很好的老师,但是就就业来说如果不当老师的话,也许比不上武汉大学.
优点:初试不考语言学和文学,只用准备基础英语和翻译写作,两门各占150分.(<现代散文选>张培基, 张汉熙的<高级英语>必看哦)这个学校的基础英语考察你的基本功,不怎么刁难人.
缺点:因为写作翻译占了150分,所以主观性很高,考到110就是不错的分数,有考生考两年的今年上一百,第二年却只有七十的,
武汉大学
这个学校我没有太深的研究,因为在准备考研的时候没有考虑这个学校,原因是什么,你看了他们学校的卷子就知道了,感觉很学究,而且是老的.
这个学校要看许多书,语言学和文学都考,而且也考基础英语,我碰到过一个研友考了两年,考这个学校,他的程度真的很不错,也很用功,没有如愿以偿，希望他今年能有好运气……
(准备以上两个学校可以把这两个学校的卷子都看看,因为听说他们经常互相参照, 而我个人看来南开大学的题目路数和武汉大学的有点类似,不妨互相借鉴一下)
华中科技大学
说实话,这个学校的英语专业真的比不上他们其它的专业,而且差距不小哦,可惜他们的卷子倒是有一贯的水准,就好比花大把的银子去买一名牌的附属产品似的,性价比真的不高,
他们学校考的书目真的很多,貌似还要考英美文化?有时间的话可以求证一下,而且他们的二外德语竟然要看该死的<新编大学德语>,完全不随大流,可是这个学校名声在外,而且硬件不错,考上了也不亏,可是能考上这个学校,大约考上外和南大也差不远了.
