One day when I went to the theater to listen to classical music, and in the middle of a performance, someone’s cell phone rang. It was very annoyed. I found it disturbing. The lady who gets a call left the concert hall right away, but I could still hear her chat loudly outside the theater. So I could not pay attention at the nice music. Therefore the use of cell phones in public place like restaurants, libraries and buses can unpleasant and impolite. I think it is acceptable to use it, but at the same time it is a good idea to avoid disturb other people.

One day, I saw the boy living next door with a new scar on his forehead. I became shocked as he was just 10 year old and the scar was horrible. I went to him and asked about his injure. At first he remains silent, but after while he started to sob and said, ―My mother threw a plate to me.‖ I asked her with surprise the reason which his mother did so. He replied, "I asked for food to eat, so there was no food in the house." Then sud den my mother came and said, ―Your lunch is getting up cold. Immediately, I felt embarrassed, with my face go red.

Last week our school hold a sports meeting. Realize it was our last school sports meeting, we decided to make it unforgettable experience. We first attended the opening ceremony, for whom our class had made a lot of preparations. Much for our excitement, our performance was a success. My classmates took part in various event such as running, the high jump and the long jump. They cheered for the athletes, so some raised their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Our class won the second place and our efforts were paid off! With the cup in hand, we took a picture together proud.

Now I’d like to say something about myself. I am the Senior 3 student and I will graduate senior high school this June. In my spare time, I like to do some interested sports with my father, who usually teach me to play basketball and table tennis. But now, as the National College Entrance Examination is coming, he can't spend too many time on sports. Every day, I am busy prepare myself for the examination. My parents and I went to Beishan Park to play on last Saturday. First, we watched the flowers and then we fly the kite. Honestly spoken, we played for a whole morning. And at noon, we had lunch at KFC, there the food was tasty. In the afternoon, we went to my grandparents’ house visit my grandparents. Except I, other family member talked a lot. I played outside. In the evening, my parents and I took a train to go to Yanji to take part in an English contest hurried. I felt happy from the bottom of my heart since I was tired.

Recently our English club has had a heating discussion about online shopping. Some people are in the favor of online shopping. They think it is very conveniently and time-saving. It allows people to buy all kinds of thing without leaving their homes. Beside, people can compare prices among different online shops before make decisions. However, others think online shopping isn’t reliable as traditional shopping. People can’t touch and try the things th at they want to buy. They may get unsuitable things or even get cheat by receiving goods of poor quality. In my opinion, online shopping had more advantages than disadvantages but people should think carefully before placing orders.

The summer holiday is coming. My classmates and I are talking about how to do during the holiday happy. We can choose among staying at home and take a trip. If we stay at home，it is comfortable but there is no need to spend money. But in that case, we will learn little about world. If we go on a trip abroad, we can broaden your view and gain knowledges we cannot get from books. Some classmates suggest we should go to places of interest nearby. I thought that it is a good idea. It does not cost many, yet we can still learn a lot.

Life is always full of something you can’t expect. Bob missed the first two lesson this morning. He got up early as usually, but when he was ready to leave he find his bicycle’s front tyre (轮胎) flat. He wanted to take taxi to school, and he did n’t have any money on him. He had to
find a place where he could get his bicycle repairing. Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shops were open in the early morning. So she had to walk to school, carry his bicycle all the way. That was the reason how he was late for school.

Last week, a football match is held between Class One and Class Two. The player from both sides are very good, so the match went on fierce at first. Finally Class Two won when we lost. They didn’t win the match, and didn’t lose heart. For one thing, we think friendship comes first, and the match comes second. For the another thing, since we all tried our best, there was no need to regret. Furthermore, we should analyze the reasons of the failure so as to succeeding next time. In brief, failure is important that it's the mother of success.

Recently our class have had a heating discussion on if people should keep pets at home in cities. There’re two differently opinions. Some students thought it's a good idea to ke ep pets because many old people who will live alone can get some comfort from them. Besides, get along well with animals will make their life interesting. However, other students are for the idea for the reason that pets may attack people or make too much noise. As for me, it's good for them to keep pets at home but we must take measure to make them behave well.

Our family, consist of 6 adults and 4 children aged 1 to 8, want to travel in abroad to see Castle Neuschwanstein. We will be doing this in December on a weekday and wondered if there will be long queues at the ticket office. If they purchase online tickets in advance, can we go direct up to the castle? If each of us use a Bayem pass, we cannot travel before 9 am, that means we cannot arrive until about 11:30 am. It will be cold but young children will not want to stand in line for long time. 1 2013年高考英语一轮复习学案专题15: 完形填空 【备考策略】 一、完形填空的题型特点 近几年来的完形填空题有以下几个特点 1. 短文难度基本稳定与高中英语教材课文难易基本相当。 2. 短文选材一般为故事性文章极少采用其他题材的文章。但往往不按时间顺序平铺直叙有插叙或倒叙有时还夹有描述和议论。 3. 短文的第一句不设空格提供给考生一个思路以便考生做题。 4. 考查内容主要是逻辑上的通顺极少是考语法所以每题四个选项大多属同一语法范畴。 5. 短文长度基本稳定一般在250~300个单词左右。 二、完形填空选项设置的几个特点 1. 同义、近义词辨析型。多倾向考查动词、名词、形容词。(平时要多把这几类词性的词归纳记忆) 2. 固定搭配型。多倾向考查动词和介词或副词、名词和介词、形容词和介词典型句子结构的搭配。 2 3. 常用语法。时态和语态、从句连词。 4. 根据上下文的逻辑关系确定选项型
三、完形填空的解题步骤 时间分配 1)通读全文领会大意(2-3分钟); 2)逐句阅读选出答案(6-7分钟); 3)猜测难点、整体复查(2-3分钟)。 1. 跳过空格、通读全文、把握大意。先跳过空格通读试题所给的要完形填空的短文 获得整体印象做到弄清文脉、抓住主旨较好地把握短文大意。要在阅读理解短文意思的基础上才开始判定选择切忌仓促下笔。 2. 结合选项、综合考虑、初定答案。在理解全文意思的基础上再结合所给备选项细 读全文联系上、下文内容注意从上、下文的语法结构和词语搭配及从选择项中寻找解题的提示以词、句的意义为先再从分析句子结构入手根据短文意思、语法规则、词语固定搭配等进行综合考虑对备选项逐一进行分析、比较和筛选排除干扰项、初步选定答案。 3. 瞻前顾后、先易后难、各个击破。动笔时要瞻前顾后、通篇考虑、先易后难。对比 较明显直接的、自己最有把握的答案先做一下子不能确定答案的先跳过这一空格继续往下做最后回过头来再集中精力解决难点。这时可结合已确定答案的选项再读一遍短文 随着对短文理解的深入可以降低试题的难度提高选择的正确率。 3 4. 复读全文、逐空验证、弥补疏漏。完成各道题选择后把所选的答案代入原文再把全文通读一篇逐空认真复查。看所选定的答案是否使短文意思前后连贯、顺理成章语法结构是否正确是否符合习惯表达法。如发现错误答案或有疑问的应再次推敲、反复斟酌、做出修正。 四、做完形填空选择题时应注意如下几点
