Lesson11 教学设计

一、教学内容与分析

Just talk

本部分以在马路上Li Yan向Kate介绍自己叔叔和婶婶为场景进行会话教学。引出要学习的目标语言Who’s that policeman / policewoman?及其答语,让学生整体上感知、模仿、学习和体验,最终使学生能够运用目标语言进行交际。

主要目标语言:

Who’s that policeman? He’s my uncle.He’s handsome.

Who’s that policewoman? She’s my a unt. She’s beautiful.

二、课前准备

1. 准备有关人物性格特征的图片,奖励课堂上表现出色的学生或小组。

2. 准备本课的单词卡片和教学挂图,为学生创设情景,学习单词。

3. 准备会话中两个女孩的头饰或面具。

4. 准备家人的照片。

三、教学步骤与建议

1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)

教师出示Lesson 10中的人物,用Who’s that boy / girl?进行提问,和学生共同谈论他/她的相关信息。

T: Who’s that boy?

S: He’s Ken.

T: How old is he?

S: He’s nine.

T: He’s quiet, right?

S: No, he’s active.

2. 新课呈现(Presentation)

1) 教师以复习环节中谈论Ken的情况继续介绍Ken is active. He likes sports very much. He often plays football with his father.随即出示Ken爸爸的图片,引导学生初步感知本课的重点语句。

T: Who’s that man?

S: He’s Ken’s father.

T: What does he look like?

S: He has short hair, big eyes and a small mouth.

T: He’s handsome.

在学生形容Ken爸爸的外貌特征后,教师出示单词handsome,引导学生朗读单词。通过出示几张学生熟知的男影星、男歌星的照片帮助学生感知这个单词的含义。请学生介绍班上同学: __________ is handsome.

2) 学习Just talk部分。

(1) 教师出示本课主题图的局部画面(只露出Li Yan叔叔),请学生用刚学会的语句形容:He’s handsome.教师介绍:He’s a policeman.学生根据图片中人物穿着警服能够理解这个单词的含义。随后逐渐出现主题图的全部画面,请学生谈论主题图,引导学生根据policeman一词能够说出 policewoman。

(2) 请学生带着以下问题看课文视频:

a. Who’s that policeman?

b. Who’s that policewoman?

c. What does Kate think of them?

(3) 在学生回答问题时,引导学生感知本课重点语句:Who’s that policeman / policewoman?

教师可引导学生体会其他类似policeman / policewoman的构词:fireman, postman, superman, milkman等。

在感知She’s beautiful.这个句型时,教师出示几张女影星、女歌星的照片,请学生用语句She’s beautiful.进行形容。还可以形容家人、朋友、同学__________ is beautiful.

3. 趣味操练(Practice)

1) 多种方式操练对话。

2) 分角色体验表演对话。

3) 说唱歌谣,并创编新歌谣。

Step1: 教师呈现自编歌摇,学生试说:

Who’s that policeman? Who’s that policeman?

He’s my uncle. He’s handsome.

Who’s that policewoman? Who’s that policewoman?

She’s my aunt. She’s beautiful.

Step2: 学生分成男女生问答说歌谣。

Step3: 分组创编歌谣。

4. 语言运用(Language use)

场景设置:学生拿出提前准备好的家人照片,两人一小组,根据对方所出示的照片询问相关信息,整理后在全班汇报。

语言支持:

S1: Who’s that man / woman?

S2: He’s/She’s my ...

S1: What’s his / her name?

S2: His / Her name is …

S1: How old is he / she?

S2: He’s / She is ...

S1: He’s handsome. / She’s beautiful.

5. 课堂评价(Assessment)

1) 课堂教学过程中的评价。

(1) 注意对学生掌握本课语言知识、语言技能以及综合运用语言能力进行评价。

(2) 结合本课教学过程中的实际,注意对学生学习中表现出的表演能力、合作精神、动机与兴趣等情感态度方面进行评价。

2) 指导完成活动手册的内容并运用小印章进行评价。

(1) 听录音为图片填序号,并与相关语句连线。考查学生听力理解与阅读能力。

(2) 听录音阅读图片,然后选出正确的选项。听录音前,教师可先请学生阅读问题和相关选项,随后带着问题听录音选择正确答案。

6. 拓展活动(Extended activities)

学生利用教师所奖励的图片,与同组同学一起运用本节课所学内容创编对话。
