There has been a heated discussion about libraries at the age of information among people. Some people, especially the younger
generation, challenge the value of conventional libraries. When they need any information in their studies or work, they can turn to their computers for help. For this reason, they do not need to go to a library for borrowing or returning one or two books.
While others, including most old people as well as scholars, value libraries. They love libraries because they can enjoy peace and quietness in an isolated spiritual world. And they also have access to rare academic works needed for their studies in the libraries.
In my view, conventional libraries are still available though there is still much room for improving. At the Age of Information, as long as knowledge is respected and cherished, libraries won’t
extinct from our lives. On the other hand, libraries should not refuse the latest information technology, which will enable them to regain those young readers.

Others argue that intelligence and diligence outweigh opportunity. There is solely a Google around the planet. In recent years the problems
which are caused by the inequality of education opportunity have attracted the public's attention. For instance, the backward teaching facilities and dilapidated school buildings in rural areas are in sharp contrast to those advanced facilities and well-equipped classrooms in urban areas, students from poor families cannot go to universities because of the high tuition.
There are several factors which contribute lo these problems. First, the distribution of resources is unbalanced between rural and urban schools. Second, educational loans for poor students are far from enough. Third, the inequality in some schools' admission policies also turns many students away. The education inequality can result in many bad impacts. On one hand, it
can affect people’s future employment. On the other hand，it is the root of many social problems.
To change this situation, I think, we should take the following measures. Firstly, the government's spending on education should be increased and the allocation of public resources gives priority to rural and weak urban schools. Secondly, the implementation of the government financial aid system for students should be accelerated. Thirdly, the government should speed up education reforms to ensure everyone has equal access to schools.

Via Internet or other means of mass media，it is common to team that some super stars are employed as guest professors of a university. Whether it is helpful to hire personages for a university's development causes hot debate from the very beginning.
There are two voices: Some people think that stars’social influence can do good to
the enrollment of a university and raise its social degrees of approval. Besides, universities should open to society and take advantage of various social resources, inclusive of celebrities' life experience and struggling adventure. However, others hold the opposite viewpoint. They think that a professor under a star's name is just advertising stunt, and has no practical meaning to the development of the university. It also diverts students attention from their academic study.
In my view, just as a coin has two sides, the inviting of celebrities as guest professors has both good and bad effect. Thus I think colleges should evaluate the possible results thoroughly, and their choices should be based on the improvement of teaching standards and students'
development. Universities should also take the features of their relevant disciplines into consideration before hiring some celebrity as a visiting professor.

More and more children are showing up at school each September with cell phones. Many parents buy cell phones to their children because it is a nice safety measure. Though many aspects of our social life have been improved, the generation gap between the youths and the olders remain and even grows wider.
In my opinion, because of the influence of individualism from western civilization, the youths do not blindly follow what the elders say, that causes the gap. The young are creative and revolutionary, always go along with the trend and like changing. While the old, accustomed to everything of the past, are hostile to change. Also with more and more different beliefs and philosophical ideas, it is natural the young hold different opinions from
