旅游英语教学模式探究
摘要：旅游英语开设的目的主要为旅游行业培养专业技术型人才，因此要求学生既要掌握基本的英语交际能力，又要具备扎实的旅游服务专业知识，两者的有机结合是培养学生旅游英语实践能力的关键。文章主要从多种积极实用的教学模式角度来分析课堂改革应取得的效果以便学生能够从对语言技能和实践能力两方面的加
以学习利用，从而培养出更符合市场需求的复合型人才。

当前我国在校大学生是在应试教育的背景下培养出来的,他们善于应对各种考试,但是英语口语和应用能力却十分欠缺。从目前的教学实践中,我们不难发现旅游英语教学中还有很多亟待研究和解决的问题，如课程设置重理论轻实践、培养目标不明确、课程内容脱离现实等原因，而导致部分学生在进入社会后不能很快适应工作的需要。为了避免这样的情况发生，传统的课堂改革已经迫在眉睫，因此笔者在此从教学模式的创新角度来论述实现课堂教学效果的
提升的具体办法。
一、口语训练是坚实基础
对从事旅游服务的人来讲，流利的英语表达是服务的基础，也是最基本的业务素质之一。口语在该课程中属于核心位置，如果我们几年时间辛勤培养的人才在走上工作岗位后，错误百出而且不能流

A massive earthquake in 1556 heavily damaged the pagoda and reduced it by three stories to its current height of seven stories One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from Indiaby Xuanzang, a famous Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, traveler, and translator.Xuanzang is a prominent Buddhist figure mostly known for his seventeen year overland trip to India and back, which is recorded in detail in his autobiography and a biography, and which provided the inspiration for the epic novel “Journey to the West”.
