二、重点语法

1.形容词的比较级和最高级

(1) 形容词的用法

①作定语:一般形容词放在名词之前,符合不定代词的后面。

e.g. He lives in a beautiful house. 他住在一个漂亮的房子里。

②作表语:放在系动词、感官动词(be、feel、look、smell、taste、sound、get、become、keep、turn、seem...)之后。

e.g. His idea sounds great. 他的看法听起来很棒。

③作宾语补足语,放在宾语之后,常与make、leave、keep、find等动词连用。

e.g. They keep the classroom clean every day. 他们每天保持教室干净卫生。

④形容词的名词化:有些形容词放在定冠词之后变成名词,表示一类人,常见的有:good\bad\, rich\poor, young\old, deaf\blind, black\white.... e.g. the old 老人the young 年轻人

(2) 形容词比较级和最高级的构成

不规则变化:

(3) 形容词比较级的用法:两者之间的比较。

①A be +比较级+than B

e.g. Mary is taller than Lucy. 玛丽比露西高。

e.g. China is bigger than Japan. 中国比日本大。

②Who\Which be +比较级,A or B ?

e.g. Who is taller, Lucy or Mary ? 谁更高,露西还是玛丽?

e.g. Which animal do you like better, cat or dog? 你更喜欢哪个动物,猫还是狗?

③表示程度的副词,a little, a bit ,a few, a lot, much, even等修饰形容词比较级

e.g. It's much colder today than before. 今天比以前冷多了。

e.g. The countryside is much quieter than the city. 农村比城市安静多了。

④比较级+and +比较级“越来越...”

more and more +形容词原级“越来越...”

e.g. It's getting warmer and warmer in spring. 春天的天气变得越来越暖和了。

e.g. The Internet will be more and more important to us. 网络对我们来说将会变得越来越重要。

⑤the +比较级,the +比较级表示越...,越.....

e.g. The busier we are, the happier we are. 越忙,我们越高兴。

e.g. The more, the better. 越多越好。

⑥the+比较级+of,表示两者中“较…”

e.g. He is the taller of the two. 他是两者之中较高的。

【注意】

形容词最高级前面要加定冠词the,而形容词的比较级前边通常不加定冠词the。如果两者进行比较,形容词比较级后面没有than,而用of 短语来明确说出两个比较的对象时,形容词比较级前面必须加定冠词the。例如:

莉莉是双胞胎中较高的那个。

误: Lily is taller of the twins.

正: Lily is the taller of the twins. 莉莉是这两个双胞胎之中较高的。

(4) 形容词最高级的用法:指三者或者三者以上的比较。

①主语+be the +最高级+of \in +比较范围

e.g. He is the tallest of the three boys. 他是这三个男孩当中最高的。

【注意】

最高级句子中,如果前后名词是属同类的,则用of;不同类,则用in

e.g. Tom is the tallest of these children. 汤姆是这些孩子们当中最高的。

e.g. Tom is the tallest in our class. 汤姆在我们班里是最高的。

②主语+be one of the +最高级+名词复数

e.g. Jay is one of the most popular singers. 杰是最受欢迎的歌手之一。

③Which\Who +最高级,A,B, or C ?

e.g. Which city is the most beautiful, Beijing, Shanghai or Fuzhou? 哪个城市是最漂亮的,北京、上海还是福州?

e.g. Which city do you like best, Beijing, Shanghai or Fuzhou? 你最喜欢哪个城市,北京、上海还是福州?

三、课文解读

1.I’m thinking about life in the countryside.我正在想乡下的生活。

think about “想,思考,考虑”

think of “想,想起,认为”,有时可以和think about互换

think over “仔细考虑”

e.g. What do you think of this plan? 你认为这个计划怎么样?

2. clear adj.清澈的;清楚明白的,明显的;晴朗的

v. 清除,移走

e.g. The water in the countryside is very clear. 农村的水非常清澈。

e.g. Can you help me clear that bike? 你能帮助我移走那辆自行车吗?

3. That must be fun! 那一定很有趣!

★must在这里表肯定推测,有“准是,一定”的意思。

e.g. The girl in black must be your sister. You look the same. 那个穿黑衣服的女孩一定是你妹妹,你们看起来很像。【延伸】

(1)mustn’t“禁止,不允许”,表否定,主观语气强。如:

e.g. You mustn’t play on the ice. It's too dangerous. 你们不许在冰上玩耍,太危险了。

(2)在表否定推断时用:can’t 意为“不可能”。

e.g. It can’t be Li Ping. 那不可能是李平。

4. beauty n.美丽,美人beautiful adj.美丽的beautifully adv.漂亮地

★名词/动词+ ful,构成形容词

care—careful小心的,仔细的,认真的hope—hopeful有希望的

5. nature n. 自然,性质

e.g. You can get many things from nature. 你可以从自然中获取很多东西。

【相关词组】

the beauty of nature 自然之美in nature 本质上,事实上back to nature 回归自然human nature 人性

6. The cat is running after a mouse and the dog is playing with the rabbit.

那只猫正在追赶一个老鼠,那只狗正在和兔子玩。

run after 追逐,追赶

play with和…玩耍

7. Wang Wei is talking about the photos with his friends. 王伟和他的朋友在讨论照片。

★talk about sth with sb “和某人讨论某事”

e.g. I was talking about this movie with my brother at this time last night. 昨晚这个时候我正和我的兄弟讨论这部电影。

8. Which do you like better, plants or animals? 植物和动物,你更喜欢哪些?

★此句为选择疑问句。like better可以替换成prefer v.更喜欢

Which do you like better = Which do you prefer

9. They make us happy. 他们使我们开心。

★make sb + 形容词(adj.) “使某人处于…状态”

e.g. That song makes me sad. 那首歌使我悲伤。

★make sb do sth “使/让某人做某事”

e.g. My teacher makes us clean the classroom after class. 我的老师让我们放学后打扫教室。

10. As we know, they are both important to us. 众所周知,它们都对我们很重要。

★as we (all) know “众所周知/就像我们知道的那样”

e.g. As we all know, dogs are very interesting. 众所周知,狗很有趣。

★be important to sb “对某人很重要”

e.g. Water is important to us. 水对我们很重要。

11. We share the same world with them. 我们和他们共有一个世界。

★same “相同的,同样的”,前必须加the

e.g. Thank you all the same. 仍然感谢。

e.g. We have the same books. 我们有同样的书。

★share...with...“和…共同分享/拥有…”

e.g. Xiaoming always shares his funny stories with us. 小明经常和我们分享他的有趣的故事。

12. Rainforests are thick forests in the hot parts of the world. 雨林是世界上热带地区最茂密的森林。

★rainforest n.雨林rain雨+ forest 森林= rainforest雨林

★thick adj.茂密的;厚的;浓的反义词:thin adj.瘦的;稀的;薄的

★the part of “…的一部分”

e.g. in the hot parts of the world 在世界上的很热的一些地区(热带地区)

e.g. There are some chairs in the front part of the classroom. 教室的前面部分有一些椅子。

13. Rainforests cover 6% of the earth’s surface. 热带雨林覆盖地球表面的百分之六。

★cover v.覆盖;n.盖子;罩;封皮,封面,封底

e.g. Water covers most parts of the earth. 水覆盖着地球的大多数部分。

e.g. The cover of the English book is very thick. 英语书的封皮很厚。

★百分数的读法:6% 读作six percent

★surface n.表面,表层on the surface 表面上,从外表看

e.g. On the surface, he is a little taller than before. 从外表看,他比以前稍微高一点儿。

14. They provide places to live for thousands of plants and animals. 它们为成千上万的植物和动物提供生存的地方。★provide… for…“为…提供….”

★当hundred, thousand与具体数词连用的时候,不用复数形式

★in the tree 和on the tree都表示“在树上”,区别:in the tree 表示外来物;on the tree表示树上本身生长的

16. They play an important part in controlling the climate. 它们在控制气候方面扮演着很重要的角色。

★play a part in sth“在…方面扮演角色”,“在…方面发挥作用”,“参与…”

【短语】control of 对…的控制in/under the control of控制out of control失去控制control oneself 控制自己17. Without rainforests, many beautiful pants and animals would die out.

e.g. The old man died last year. 那个老人去年死了。

★die, died和dead的区别:

die是动词“死亡”,died是其过去式,dead是形容词“死的”

【短语】die out 灭绝,灭亡

e.g. Many kinds of plants die out every day. 每天有很多种植物灭绝。

18. protect v.保护

e.g. We should protect the environment. 我们应该保护环境。

★protect…from…“保护…免受…”

e.g. We must protect the cat from harm.我们必须保护那只猫免受伤害。

19. wood n. “木头,木材”,本身是不可数名词。加s表示“树林” woods n.树林

20. Pandas feed on bamboo. 熊猫以竹子为生。

★feed v.喂养,养,饲养

e.g. Did you feed a cat? 你养猫了吗?

【相关表达】

feed on “以…为生/为食”= live on

feed sth to sb“给某人喂某物”

feed sb/sth with sth“用某物喂某人/某物”

e.g. Tigers feed on meat. 老虎以肉为食。

21. But now they have less and less land to live on. 但现在它们可居住的地方越来越少。

★to live on是不定式短语,作land的后置定语。构成动宾关系,起形容词作用。若动词时不及物动词,要加上相应的介词。

e.g. Do you have something to read? 你有一些阅读的东西吗?

e.g. I need a song to listen to.我需要听一首歌。

(listen to 和song构成动宾关系,listen是不及物动词,介词to不能省略。)

★live in 和live on的区别:

live in, 是住在...里面(学校里,城镇里,房子里...)

live on, 是在...上面居住(生活),以...为生

e.g. My grandmother lives in the countryside. 我的奶奶住在农村。

e.g. He lives on a small island. 他住在一个小岛上。

21. east 东方,东部west西方,西部south 南方,南部north 北方,北部

southwest 西南

southeast东南

in the east of …“在…的东部”

e.g. Chinese tigers lives in the south of China. 华南虎生活在中国的南部。

22. They are also in danger now. 它们现在也正处在危险之中。

★in danger 在危险中

e.g. There are many kinds of animals in danger. 有很多种动物处在危险中。

★out of danger 脱离危险

Doctor said she was out of danger. 医生说她脱离危险了。

★in+情绪或处境的名词“处在…中”

e.g. in fear 在恐惧中in anger 在生气中in happiness 在幸福中

仁爱版八年级上册英语课堂教学案例设计及教学反思 ?????????????????????????《Unit 1 Topic1 Section D, 2 Written work》 一、背景知识介绍。 书面表达是写的一种途径,是英语交际的重要组成部分。初中阶段对于英语写作的要求,实际上是“有指导的写作“(Guided Writing)。它通过提供情景(文字、图画、表格),让学生用学过的英语语言来描述事物或事件并表达一定的思想,以此达成和检验对所学英语语言知识的实践应用能力。客观地说,书面表达一直是我们英语教学的一个难点,也是学生应试的一个难点。 从这几年对洛江区中考模拟英语试卷的抽样调查情况来看,英语写作是得分最为薄弱的一个题项。究其原因,一是学生写作练习的时间少,二是教师平时缺乏对学生进行系统的写作知识的指导。(比如,如何用词、句、组段、谋篇等)。这些原因造成了学生从最初不会写盲目写到不愿写。惧怕写,直至最后拒绝写的恶性循环。针对这一现象,我在十一中进行了一次如何提高学生写作能力的课堂实践。写作的材料取自于仁爱版英语八年级(上)“Unit 1 ,Topic 1,Section D ,3 Written work”。教师旨在通过与学生谈论他们熟悉的话题“sports”,搜索学生头脑中有关运动的信息,通过阅读本话题,获取有关运动的一些信息,指导学生如何写My Favorite Sport ,从而达到写作的目的。 二、教学课时:1课时(45分钟) :写四、教学目标:总结一般将来时:be going to + do sth.的用法; 培养学生以提问的方式来写作的能力; 谈论自己所喜欢的体育活动、体育明星及自己梦想的职业; ??? ?????? 培养学生热爱生活,热爱运动。 容:描述和谈论了一些体育运动项目,介绍了自己最喜欢的体育明星及自己梦想的职业。 点:培养学生一种写作能力---提问的方式来写作。 七、教学过程: Step 1.Warm-up活动:通过听一首英语歌:“The more we get together,the happier we’ll be.” 【设计说明】目的是活跃气氛,为引出今天的话题做准备。 Step 2.Revision ①使用头脑风暴法(brainstorm)让学生想出一些和sports 有关的
