It’s long time we haven’t seen each other. I miss you very much. How’s everything going on with you and your family? I am busy preparing for an English speech recently.
I am trying to get more spoken English materials so that can learn fast. I had checked the book shops in my city and wonder if you can check in your city and buy one spoken English book for me? Since you have been an English teacher in the college for several years, so I think you may do this favor to me.

In modern society, money plays an important role in our daily life. Some people even say that money can buy happiness, while others hold a different attitude.
In my opinion, even though money is necessary to life, it can＇t buy happiness. First and most important, we can't deny that money is very useful .Since we need money to buy our daily necessities such as food, houses and clothing, etc. Generally speaking, more money can make us life more comfortable. Secondly, if we have more money, we can take part in more social activities. We can receive higher education, increase our knowledge and develop our skills. In addition, we will have more ways to help others. All those can help us live an interesting and meaningful life.
Happiness, however, is not something that can be measured by money. It is a state of mind. One can have plenty of money, with which he can buy whatever he wants, and at the same time he is not happy because he is never satisfied or he is troubled by various kinds of problems. Therefore, although money is necessary for a happy life, it can＇t buy happiness.

My favorite TV program is Outlook English, which is shown on CCTV Ten everyday. “Outlook on the road, on the road to better English” is its theme.
First, this program is like a wonderful window, through which I can see the beautiful and exciting world. It gives me a vivid picture of what have been going on and what have happened in different places. From the small town to the big city in China, from the yummy food in the South Africa to the wild animals in America, you nearly can be an expert in international places of interest with the information offered in this program.
Secondly, it provides me with the latest and hot words in English. My English vocabulary has been greatly improved .What’s more, I find that can express myself more frequently in English after watching this program.
Last but not the least, the presenters of the program is excellent. They are not only good in hosting but also good in oral English. I am the fan of some of them such as Tony, Dingxi, and Yuanyuan.
All in all, my favorite TV program is Outlook English. I hope you will like it too.
