1.内容覆盖面广,考查范围均为大纲中所列的所有语法项目——包括动词非谓语形式、时态、被动语态、情态动词、冠词、形容词、副词、代词、连词、从句、倒装、习惯表达法等;

2.重点突出,强调动词的考查;

4.10个空白处主要考查名词、动词、形容词、副词、代词、冠词、介词、连接词等;

1. Since Hong Kong____(rejoin) China in 1997, more students from the Chinese mainland have

chosen to study there.

2. Ten years ago, Jessica was only 13.________(live) with her parents in Hong Kong, she knew little putonghua.

答案:Living

3. “Thirty-five cents,” she said________(rude).

4. At last, her courage and ________(wise) impressed both the CEO and Princeton University.

5. There, my voice sounds really__________(wonder) because there’s a slight echo to it.

6. A certain man planted a rose and watered it________(faith) and before it blossomed, he examined it.

I can send a message to Jane whenever I want to and ____ gets there almost in a second.

答案:it

解析:it指代a message。

It is said that a short-tempered man in the Song Dynasty was very anxious to help _____rice crop grow up.

答案:his

...who should have the honor of receiving me ______ guest in their house.

答案:as

1. I wanted to see as much of the city as possible in the two days________ I was to return to Guangzhou.

例2.He was very tired after doing this for a whole day, _____ he felt very happy.

例3.However, Chenhong, ______ graduated from Hong Kong University this summer, has found that now she needs putonghua more than ever.

答案:1.before 2.but 3.who

1 V olunteers' work plays an important ______in America’s high school education.

例2 ...and_______was only after he left home that he realized the importance of his family.

例3.This made the goat so jealous ____it began plotting against the donkey.

Eleven-year-old Angela was stricken with a disease involving her nervous system. The doctors did not hold out much hope of her ever recovering 1 this illness. They predicted she’d spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair. 2 Angela firmly believed that she was definitely going to be walking again someday. The doctors were charmed by her 3 (defeatable) spirit. They taught her about imaging—about seeing herself 4 (walk). Angela would work as hard as possible in physical therapy(理疗), lying there faithfully doing her imaging, visualizing herself moving, moving, moving!

One day, 5 she was training with all her might to imagine her legs moving again, 6 seemed as though a miracle happened: the bed moved! She screamed out, “Loo k what I 7 (do)! Look! Look! I can do it! I moved, I moved!” Of course,8 this very moment everyone 9 in the hospital was screaming, too. It was the San Francisco earthquake. But don’t tell 10 to Angela. She’s convinced that she did it. And now only a few years later, she’s back in school. On her own two legs. No walking sticks, no wheelchair.

答案:1. from 2. But 3. Undefeatable 4. walking 5. as 6. it 7. am doing 8. at 9. else 10. that/it

1. from recover。from an illness

2. But。

3. undefeatable。

4. walking。see sb doing“看见某人在做某事”。

5. as。

6. it。句式搭配:it seems as if/as though...

7. am doing。

8. at。at this very moment

9. else。

10. that/it。

III. Reading Comprehension Section B Directions: Read the following three passages. Each passage is followed by several questions or unfinished statements. For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C and D. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read. B Kettlebells do not hurt people. People do. A kettlebell will get your respect – the easy way or the hard way. Here is the easy way. 1. Get a medical clearance. Get clearance, especially from an orthopedist and a cardiologist. The latter is no joking matter, since kettlebell training can be extremely intense. 2. Always be aware of your surroundings. Find a training area with a non-slippery surface on which you are not afraid to drop a kettlebell. The area must be clear of objects you might trip over – including other kettlebells – or that you might hit with a kettlebell. There should be no people or animals in a radius where you could injure them. 3. Train barefoot or wear shoes with a flat, thin sole and room for the toes to spread. Training barefoot is superior for health and performance reasons. If you must wear shoes, wear Converse Chuck Taylors, Vibram Five Fingers, or similar shoes that have thin soles and do not pinch the toes together. You have sensory receptors on the bottoms of your feet that make you stronger and improve balance and coordination. Wearing traditional shoes diminishes the ability of these receptors to work properly, and therefore inhibits performance and can increase the risk of injury. Go native. 4. Never contest for space with a kettlebell. Do not try to save a rep that has gone wrong. Guide the kettlebell to fall harmlessly, and move out of the way if necessary. And remember, quick feet are happy feet. 5. Practice all safety measures at all times. Respect every kettlebell, even the lightest one. Always use perfect form picking up and setting down a kettlebell. The set is not over until the bell is safely parked.

A If English means endless new words, difficult grammar and sometimes strange pronunciation, you are wrong. Haven't you noticed that you have become smarter since you started to learn a language? According to a new study by a British university, learning a second language can lead to an increase in your brainpower. Researchers found that learning other languages changes gray matter. This is the area of the brain which processes information. It is similar to the way that exercise builds muscles. The study also found the effect is greater on the younger people who learn a second language. A team led by Dr Andrea Mechelli, from University College London, took a group of Britons (英国土著人) who only spoke English. They were compared with a group of "early bilinguals" who had learnt a second language before the age of five, as well as a number of later learners. Scans showed that grey matter density (密度)in the brain was greater in bilinguals than in people without _______ . But the longer a person waited before mastering a new language, the smaller the difference is. "Our findings suggest that the structure of the brain is changed by the experience of learning a second language," said the scientists. It means that the change itself increases the ability to learn. Professor Dylan Vaughan Jones of the University of Wales has researched the link between bilingualism and maths skills. "Having two languages gives you two windows on the world and makes the brain more flexible," he said. "You are actually going beyond language and have a better understanding of different ideas." 1. What's the best title for this passage? (Please answer within 10 words.) ______________________________________________________________ 2. A.would save B.saves C.had saved D.has saved We are waiting for you. When I got to the top of the mountain, the sun was shining. 2. You are always changing your mind. 3. (1)表示心理状态、情感的动词:know,realize,think,see,believe,trust,suppose,imagine,guess,agree,recognize,remember,want,need,forget,prefer,mean,understand,like,love,hate,care,mind,wish等。

In 1873, Strauss received a letter from a Jewish tailor named Jacob Davis who had invented a process of connecting pockets with copper rivets(铆钉).This made the pants last a long time.Because Davis did not have the money to patent his idea, he offered to share it with Strauss if Strauss would agree to pay for the patent. 4 .

高考英语语法复习专题(2)名词性从句(附参考答案) 1、名词性从句中连接词的运用 名词性从句中的连接词有连词that / whether / as if,连接代词what / who/ which / whose / whatever / whoever / whomever / whichever,连接副词where / when / why / how / wherever / whenever。 (1)that的用法。 That they are good at English is known to us all. The problem is that we don’t have enough money. She expressed the hope that they would come to China one day. He judged that, because he was a child, he did not understand wine Everyone knew what happened and that she was worried. The reason lies in that she works harder than the others do. (A)It is clear/certain/likely/true/surprising that… (B)It is a pity/shame/good idea/no wonder that ...(C)It is said/reported/ believed/known/thought/suggested that … (D)It seems/happens that。如: It happened that I went out last night. It is said that China will win in the World Cup. ④that和what的区别。 It’s shame that he has made such a mistake. Do what he says. They expressed the hope that they would come to visit China again.(同位语从句) The hope she expressed is that they would come to visit China again.(定语从句) 选择填空 1._____________ you have done might do harm to other people.
