我心中的英雄不是耀武扬威的警察，也不是大名鼎鼎的科学家，而是“城市的美容师”——清洁工。
在大家眼里，您做的不过是微不足道的工作，但在我眼里，您从事的却是世界上最神圣的工作，时刻保护我们美丽的家园，您在众目睽睽之下清扫着城市的每个角落，完全不介意别人的看法，有的妈妈还趁机教育孩子：“你一定要好好学习，不然就会成为像他（她）们一样的人”。难道清洁工一心为别人付出的品格不可贵吗？难道只有地球脏得像个“烂皮球”才能知道清洁工的伟大吗？我们想一想，如果没有清洁工，地球将会变成什么样子？满地烟头、果皮、废纸等等，还有破塑料袋在满天飞舞……。

说到英雄，什么才是真正的英雄？作出惊天动地业绩的人是英雄，为寻求真理献出生命的人是英雄，在平凡岗位上作出不平凡事迹的人也是英雄。而我心目中的英雄却是南宋初年的抗金名将——岳飞。
岳飞是南宋初年的抗金名将。在近23年的戎马生涯立下赫赫战功。
岳飞出生在汤阳县(今河南省汤阳县)。父母给他取名“飞”，字鹏举，意思是希望他前程远
大，鹏程万里。
岳飞真就没辜负父母的苦心，从小便熟读兵书，通晓战策。他20岁那年，金兵大举入侵中原，所到之处烧杀抢掠，搅得百姓人心惶惶，鸡犬不宁。岳飞见此情景，不禁热血沸腾，想奔赴战场，杀敌报国。
知子莫如母，一天，岳飞的母亲摆设香案，鼓励岳飞奋勇杀敌，报效祖国，并在岳飞的背上刺下了“精忠报国”四个大字。她对儿子说：“娘虽然年纪大了，但决不会拖累你，今天我在你身上刺下这四个大字，就是要你杀敌报国，你千万别辜负娘的心意。”不久，岳飞告别家人，打马扬鞭奔赴抗金战场。岳飞在战场上浴血奋战十几年，成了一名让敌人闻风丧胆的统帅，他所率领的岳家军也人人威风，个个英勇，能征善战。岳飞率军两次北伐，收复了大片失地。
正当他准备乘胜追击，直捣金兵老窝黄龙府时，宋高宗赵构接连下了12道金牌，要他火速班师回朝，就这样，千辛万苦收复的失地又一次丧失了。他悲愤地写下了留传千古的《满江红》：“怒发冲冠，凭栏阑处，潇潇雨歇。抬望眼，仰天长啸，壮怀激烈。三十功名尘与土，八千里路云和月。莫等闲，白了少年头，空悲切。靖康耻，犹未雪。臣子恨，何时灭？驾长车，踏破贺兰山缺。壮士饥餐胡虏肉，笑谈渴饮匈奴血。待从头，收拾旧山河，朝天阙。”
岳飞在首都临安被宋高宗和奸相秦桧等人以“莫须有”的罪名杀害了，岳飞死时年仅39岁，然而他的“精忠报国”的精神，却永远激励着后人。岳飞这种“精忠报国”的精神，永远值得我们学习。

每个人都有心目中的英雄，他或许惊天动地，或许平凡无奇，但一定是我们心中最尊敬、最伟大的一个人。
他是杭州的一位普通大巴司机。5月29日中午，他在途经一段高速公路时，突然有一铁块从空中飞来，击碎了车前的挡风玻璃，猛地砸向他的腹部和手臂，导致肝脏破裂及肋骨多处骨折。
然而，他在身遭多处重创的情况下，强忍剧痛将车辆缓缓停下，拉上手刹、开启双闪灯，完成一系列安全停车措施后，摇晃着疏散车上的24位乘客。可是，他自己却因伤势过重瘫坐在座位上，最后经抢救无效离世。
吴斌，他用生命最后的76秒延续了24名乘客的生命之火。事后，他被批准为革命烈士、授予“见义勇为勇士”的称号。他爱岗敬业、舍己为人。
面对吴斌这样爱岗敬业的公交司机，不禁让我想起了上学坐公交时常碰到的那个司机。记得有一次，驾驶位上不停地传出“嘀、嘀、嘀”的声音，大概是那个零件坏了。我坐在前排，干扰声不绝于耳，令我眼冒金星，也有好多乘客不甘其扰挪到后排去了。但是，那位司机却仍旧气定神闲地坐在那里，仿佛十分安静似的，依旧专注地开车。我不禁纳闷起来：我都烦得只想下车了，他却还笃定地开车？然而，当看到他那坚定的眼神与有序的动作时，我终于
明白：他不是什么超人，也不是什么怪胎，他只是凭着心中那份敬业的精神在履行着自己的职责罢了。这也许只是一件天经地义的事情，可是在我们看来却变得如此不可思议。
