The Spread of English All Over the W orld Is Disadvantageous With the process of globalization, English becomes more and more popular. Faced with the question whether the spread of English all over the world is advantageous or not, there is no consensus of opinion among people. As to me, I will say it is disadvantageous without any hesitation. A number of factors could account for this phenomenon.
First and foremost, English can divide the society into many classes, which widen the gap between the rich and the poor.
