翻译硕士百科知识复习方法 根据翻译硕士考试大纲：百科知识与写作考试包括三个部分：百科知识、应用文写作、命题作文。总分150分。 I. 百科知识 1. 考试要求 要求考生对中外文化、国内国际政治经济法律以及中外人文历史地理等方面有一定的了解。 2. 题型 要求考生解释出现在不同主题的短文中涉及上述内容的25个名词。每个名词2分，总分50分。考试时间为60分钟。 3.复习方法 这道题考得知识面很全，可能涉及到天文、地理、历史、法律、政治、中外文学、中外文化、音乐、翻译专有名词等，准备起来比较棘手。而且学校每年偏好让人捉摸不定，可能突然变化，让人始料未及。比如北大09-11年偏重英美历史文学，而12年突然转到翻译专业术语，13年又出了很多古文解释。所以，百科的准备，一要广泛，二要抓重点，尤其要重视学校的参考书目。搜集各校往年真题的名词解释，看相关的书，如人文常识、中学的历史课本、英美文化等也尤为必要。 II. 应用文写作 1. 考试要求 该部分要求考生根据所提供的信息和场景写出一篇450词左右的应用文，体裁包括说明书、会议通知、商务信函、备忘录、广告等，要求言简意赅，凸显专业性、技术性和实用性。 2. 题型 试卷提供应用文写作的信息、场景及写作要求。共计40分。考试时间为60分钟。 3.备考方法 9月以后在准备即可，可以在图书馆随便借本应用文的书，翻翻练习几个就好。但要注意一点，防止眼高手低。貌似很简单，真到写的时候却写不出来，所以还是需要练习的。考试的时候注意格式、合理性，如果再加上点文采，无异于锦上添花。 III. 命题作文
