Unit1 How can we become good learners?

【学习课题】:第1单元第一课时Section A 1a-2d

【学习目标】:1. 知识目标:能够初步识记textbook, conversation, aloud, pronunciation,

sentence, patient这些单词。

2.能力目标:正确使用How do you...? By doing sth.谈论学习和考试。

3.情感目标:树立自信,培养坚强的意志,通过各种方式克服学习过

程中遇到的困难,并找到适合自己的学习方法。

【学习重点】:1.重点单词:textbook, conversation, aloud, pronunciation, sentence, patient

2.重点短语:By doing sth., have conversations with, a little, read aloud,word

by word, give a report, get the main idea.

3.重点句型:How do you...? By doing sth.; It takes time.

【学习难点】:学习并掌握How引导的特殊疑问句及其答语,并能流利地运用此句型进行口语交际。

【学习过程】:

(一)自“主”学习

(二)合作探究

1.学习有关“学英语的方法”的短语

2.使用句型How do you...? By doing sth.谈论如何学习和考试(活动:组内自由练习对话,询问对方如何学习和考试,然后展示对话。)

3.听力1a,听对话,这些学生是怎样为考试而学习的?写出1a中的字母。

4.听力完成2a,2b.(活动:让学生先审题,明白各个句子的意思,然后再做答案。听力之后,师生核对答案。)

5.使用听力信息做对话,完成2c.(活动:先让学生阅读听力材料信息,了解使用了哪些问题询问对方如何学英语的。然后两人一组对话练习。)

6.学习对话2d(活动:①.组内活动领悟对话意思,自己大声朗读对话2遍。②.听录音跟读对话。③.分角色朗读对话。④.学生勾画重点知识,并解释,必要时教师点拨。)(三)精要“讲”解

1.conversation. n. 交谈;谈话

e.g:这是一个私人谈话,别打搅!This is a private .Don’t interrupt!

常用短语:have / hold a conversation with...与……交谈/谈话; make conversation闲谈;搭讪;be in conversation with...在与……谈话

3.patient adj.有耐心的n.病人

常用短语:be patient with sb. 对某人有耐心be patient to do sth.耐心地做某事

e.g:⑴.在学校所有老师中,史密斯老师对学生最有耐心。

⑵.他每天都耐心地在公共汽车在排队。

He is queue at the bus stop every day.

⑶.因为她是一个病人,你应该对她耐心点。

4.practice v.练习n.不可数名词,“练习”

注意:practice后可接名词、代词或动名词(短语)等。

e.g: ⑴.他们每天早上练习说英语。They English every morning.

⑵.许多学生在英语俱乐部得到大量的练习。

常接动名词的动词及短语口诀:

完成,练习,盼望,忙(finish, practice, look forward to, be busy)

考虑,建议,不禁,想(consider, suggest, can’t help,feel like)

错过,习惯,(别)放弃(miss, be used to, give up)

继续,喜欢,(要)介意(keep on, enjoy, mind)

5.the +比较级+(句子),the +比较级+(句子)“越……,就越……”

比较级+and +比较级“越来越……”

e.g: ⑴.这本书我越看越喜欢。The I read the book,the I like it.

⑵.你站得越高,看得越远。The you stand,the you will look.

⑶.天气变得越来越冷。The weather becomes and .

2. 重点短语:look up, fall in love with, the secret to, have a better

understanding of, the expressions on their face, body language

3. 重点句型:find it +adj.+(for sb.)+to do sth.

【学习难点】:1.掌握单词expression, discover, secret, grammar在语言环境中的应用。

2.掌握阅读短文的重要短语和句子。

【学习过程】:

(一)自主“学”习

(三)精要“讲”解

1.find+it+adj.+(for sb.)+to do sth. 发现做某事(对某人来说)……(it 在句中作形式宾语,真正的宾语是后面的不定式to do sth.,形容词在句中作宾语补足语)

e.g:我发现学英语很有趣。I find very interesting English.

注意:it形式宾语还可以转换为形式主语。

e.g:I find it difficult for Tom to learn math well

.=I find that it is difficult for Tom to learn math well.

2.secret adj.秘密的;保密的n.秘密;秘诀

e.g:⑴.他们俩都不知道这个秘密。of them knows the .

⑵.那是秘密信息,不要告诉别人。That is information. Don’t tell others.

短语:……的秘诀/秘密the secret to...其中to为介词,表示所属,意为“……的”

e.g:我认为仔细计划是成功的秘诀之一。

I think careful planning is one of the success.

所属关系用to的情况口诀:

钥匙答案纪念碑,注释索引和附录,出口入口桥与路,参观介绍多用to。

the key to the bike 自行车的钥匙the answer to the question这个问题的答案the Monument to the People’s Heroes人民英雄纪念碑the notes to the text课文注释the exit to the cinema 电影院出口the bridge to knowledge 知识桥梁the way to the school去学校的路the secret to = the secret of ……的秘诀/秘密常用短语:keep a secret 保守秘密in secret = secretly秘密地,暗中

3.expression n.表情(=look);表示;表达方式

→express v. 表达;表露express...to sb 向某人表达……

e.g:⑴.她脸上毫无表情。There was no her face.

⑵.我发现难以表达我的意思。I find it difficult my meaning.

⑶.她向我表达了谢意。She expressed her me.

4.discover v.发现(发现本来就已存在的,但不为人所知的事物)→discovery (n.)发现→discoverer (n.)发现者

invent v.发明(通过自己的聪明才智发明世界上从未有过的事物)→invention (n.)发明→inventor (n.)发明者

e.g:电不是爱迪生发现的,但他发明了电灯。

Electricity was not by Edison, but he the electric light.

5.look up (在词典或参考书中)查阅;抬头看(look up后的宾语如果是名词,可放在up 前或up之后;如果是代词,则只能放在up之前。)注意:look up 后不能直接接书或词典,而应该:look up the word in the book 或look it up in the dictionary.

look 的相关短语:look for 寻找look around 环顾四周look out当心look after照顾look at看着look over(医生)仔细检查

6.listening to something interesting 听些有趣的事

注意:动名词(短语)做主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。

e.g:⑴.做早操对你的身体有好处。

morning exercises good for your health.

⑵.照看小孩子是她的工作。

care of kids her job.
