小学英语听力练习 新制定的英语课程标准把“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神”放在英语课程任务的首位。我是这样考虑的:小学英语教学主要是教会学生如何学会英语,为真正实现终身学习创造条件。而听力是英语学习中四项基本技能之一,也是学生最感困难的一项技能。从我对学生的调查来看,有80%的学生感到听力困难。其主要原因是:语速太快,来不及理解,记忆失控。那么,如何在教学中解决这些问题,提高学生的听力水平呢? 众所周知,听是理解和吸收口头信息的手段。听和读是输入,只有达到足够的输入量,才能保证学生具有较好的说和写的输出能力。从心理上来说,听的活动可划分为:1.音的感知和识别;2.对具体材料的初步理解;3.领会材料的意思并进行记忆,即认知—理解—记忆。运用这条原理,我在小学英语听力教学中进行了实践,在优化英语听力教学、激活学生理解能力方面有一点拙见: 一、导教、激发学生听的领会能力 导教,即引导学生“乐学”。课堂教学是一个多方面、多层次、多元化的完整而复杂的过程,这个过程应充分体现“学生为主体,教师为主导,训练为主线”的教学原则。因此,我根据小学生的心理和认知特点,导出了听力教学中的三种科学方法: 1.单项性听和整体性听相结合的方法 单项性听是把听的材料分为各个语言层次,让学生分步听,进行听力基本训练。整体性听是在听力基本功训练的基础上所进行的听的活动。 2.分散训练和集中训练相结合的方法 分散训练主要是分散于词汇、句型、语言、课文教学中以各种单位和各种方式进行的听的活动。由于听的活动要求注意力高度集中,时间长了易于使学生疲劳,所以分散训练是一种有效的方法。但是分散训练时间短,不能就听本身的练进行系统指导和安排,所以学生听力不易迅速提高。只有集中进行听的训练,时间才能得到保证,教师才能集中精力,根据不同学生的不同听力困难,加以具体帮助和指导。 3.理解和反应相结合的方法 学生在听力练习中,只有真正听懂了,才能作出正确反应,而是否听懂也只有靠作出反应的正确与否来检验。所以,如何才能使学生听得又快又好,是在训练中要着重解决的问题。 通过以上方法的运用,我注重引导学生参与教学活动,创设问题情境,保持参与时间,使学生在参与听力教学的过程中学会认知,增长智能,发展素质,从“厌学”变成“乐学”,从而激发学生听的能力。 二、导练,培养学生的辩析能力 导练,即在教学中坚持“以训练为主线”的原则。学生的听力素质只有通过训练才能更好地形成和巩固。因此,我把学生听力技能、听力思维等方面的训练贯穿于教学始终,并力求训练形式多样,讲究实效。
