《英语课程标准》提出“通过英语学习是学生形成初步的综合语言运用能力,促进心智发展,提高综合人文素养。”“以语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五个方面共同构成的英语课程总目标,既体现了英语学习的工具性,也体现了其人文性;既有利于学生发展语言运用能力,又有利于学生发展思维能力,从而全面提高学生的综合人文素养。”因此,在本课时的教材中要充分利用谈论他人职业的对话教学来培养学生的语言运用能力、小组合作学习的能力,促进学生的心智发展,提高其综合人文素养。

教材分析:

本课时是PEP教材六年级上册Unit5 part A Let’s talk 的教学,是本单元的第二课时,在第一课时中已经复习了四年级学过的有关职业的单词,并新学习了let’s learn 部分的单词,初步会用“What does your father/mother do?”“He/She is a ….”做简单的问答,本课时讲继续以“What does your mother do?”“She is a TV reporter.”为主要句子,以谈论父母的职业为话题的展开更加深入的对话的教学。

学情分析:

本单元主要让学生能够简单介绍一些职业以及询问他人的工作情况,并作出相应的回答。所学的内容与学生身边的人物息息相关,学生对本单元的学习很感兴趣。教师在教学中可以以本册第二单元内容做铺垫,在本单元话题的基础上适当

拓展延伸,借助挂图、单词卡片、多媒体等多种教学设备来完成教学任务。

学习目标

1. 能够听、说、读、写主要句型:What does your father/mother/he do? He/She is a/an…并能在实际情景中熟练运用。

2. 能够掌握二会单词country,head teacher,理解三会句子:Do you want to be a head teacher, too? 并能在情景中正确运用。

资源与建议

1、新版PEP义务教育教科书六年级上册第四单元(课本48页)。

2、本节课所涉及的句子在三四五年级已有涉及。

3、通过make a survey和fill in blanks的方式来达成目标。

4、通过课上的游戏和活动突破重难点。

5、至少90%以上的学生达成本节课的目标。

评价任务:

1.借助多媒体,在老师的引导下,正确回答针对对话的预设问题;通过跟读、自读、同桌读等方式,会正确的朗读对话。(完成学习目标1)。

2. 通过任务Pair work:,正确表演书上Let’s talk 的对话,能准确在情境中运用句型What are his hobbies?询问别人的姓名,用He likes…回应别人的询问。检测目标2 的达成情况。学习过程:
