“机遇”对每一个人、每一个单位、每一个部门、每一个地区，
都是平等的，这是它的客观性所决定的。然而，“机遇”给人们所带来的结果又是不平等的，这是它的实践性所决定的。因为在“机遇”面前，任何观望者、彷徨者、徘徊者，都只能是坐失良机、磋跎岁月。当“机遇”向我们呼唤和招手的时候，那些只是耸一下肩膀的人是跃不起来的，那些只是扇一下翅膀的人也是飞不起来的。怕“风险”就永远到达不了彼岸，怕“挫折”就永远成就不了大业。因而，“机遇”只属于那些思想解放、锐意进取的人，只属于那些超前决策、适时决胜的人，只属于那些勇于实践、敢于闯关的人。古人言：“一日难再晨，一年难再春，岁月不等人”。在难得的“机遇”面前，我们这些炎黄子孙，都应当怀着强烈的民族危机感、时代紧迫感和历史责任感，去追求它、拥抱它，利用它，为华夏的振兴和崛起而奋争，为祖国的昌盛和腾飞而拼搏！

只有结网捕鱼，才能尝到鱼的美味。世界上不论什么事，如果只是脱离实际的空想，或者夸夸其谈、纸上谈兵，而不脚踏实地地去实干，就像只站在河边，对鱼兴叹，而不去结网捕鱼一样，是什么也得不到的。反之，如果踏踏实实地去干，即使在实践中失败，也还能得到教训，接近”成功”一步。假如一个学生，整天只是坐在那儿空谈长大要当作家、科学家、医生，而不抓紧宝贵的光阴学习，那他的理想
则不可能实现，那些美好的愿望就只能是空想。所以说，只说不做，一事无成。
纵观世界，兴旺发达者皆出于实干、苦干。我们常常羡慕发达国家人民物质生活的现代化，什么宽敞的住宅，高级小轿车等等，当然，羡慕美好的生活，无可厚非，问题是我们更应看到，发达国家之所以发达，是实干的结果。就拿日本来说吧，二次世界大战之后，日本的经济濒于崩溃，人民生活贫苦不堪。有的人因饥饿而向美国军人讨要残羹冷炙而受到侮辱。当时，许多日本人含泪发誓，一定要竭尽全力，吃尽千辛万苦而使日本发达起来，赶超美国，使日本人在世界的每一个地方扬眉吐气。今天，我们看到了日本的发达、兴盛，殊不知这些繁荣的背后，有多少人实干的汗水！这不是实干兴邦的一个很好的例证吗？
日本的发达、兴盛，告诉我们：我们需要实干家。我们要在本世纪中叶，将我国建设成一个繁荣富强的社会主义现代化强国，这就需要几代人的艰苦奋斗。展望未来，我们深切感到：不能空谈，只能实干。有了农民的实干，才能解决十十几亿人口的吃饭问题；有了工人的实干，才能生产更多的钢铁、石油、机器；有了科技工作者的实干，才能有更多的发明创造；有了文艺工作者的实干，才能产生更多更好的戏剧、电影、文学作品来丰富人民的精神生活，建设高度的社会主义精神文明。
我们青年学生，是祖国未来的建设者，将从老一辈手中接过建设祖国的重担，如果在今天清谈，就学不到知识和本领，将来必然贻误国家的建设大业。祖国富强的希望就会成为泡影！记得一位哲人说过：不管肥皂泡的色彩是多么绚丽，吹得多么大，它终究是要破裂的。
历史在向我们召唤，我们的回答是斩钉截铁的：我们不要做清谈者，我们要做实干家。只有实干，才能兴邦；只有实干，才能富国！

镜子这东西，差不多家家有，天天用。人们梳洗打扮，总要对着它调查研究一番。镜子，也可以算是一种认识工具吧。人的

我国古代，像这样会”照镜子”的不乏其人。战国时齐国宰相邹忌便是一个。邹忌从镜子里发现，自己实际上并没有别人漂亮，而他的老婆和客人说他多么漂亮，不过是阿谀奉承。由此他联想到：在日常生活中不照镜子，对自己的尊容心中无数，尚且有被欺骗的可能，倘若处理国家大事时也不知道经常照”照镜子”，那所受的蒙蔽就严重了！他向齐威王报告了自己的体验。齐威王听了很赞赏，接受了他的建议，实行鼓励臣民批评朝政的政策，并比较正确地对待这些批评，使国家很快强盛起来。
人的认识的局限性，很容易使人陷入盲目性，缺乏自觉性。而只要会”照镜子”，做到”以人为镜”“以古为镜”，学会在人们的各种批评、意见中认识自己，就能成为一个比较地聪明一些的人，能干一些的人，就能做出一定的成就和贡献。
可惜，”镜子”虽好，却有些人不会”照”。自己脸上有疤，却怪”镜子”反映得不准确，不愿”照”；还有那自以为是”天下第一美人”的，则不屑”照”；甚至有因丑处被照，短处被揭，恼羞成怒而将”镜子”弃之，砸之者。这几种对待”照镜子”的精神状态，不是值得我们深思吗？
