本单元教学内容以Do you want to watch a game show？为中心话题，围绕着“谈论喜
好和制定计划”展开，学习和运用句式Do you want to watch...？和What questions and answers以及一些描述性形容词，表达对某些电视节目的喜好(评价)。Section A是基本语言内容的收集和学习，要求学生掌握一些常见电视节目类型的英文名称，如talk show，sitcom，news，soap opera，game show，sports show，talent show等，结合do引导的一般疑问句
和what引导的特殊疑问句，进行简单会话，表达个人对某种电视节目的喜好。Section B在Section A的基础上，进一步拓展学生基础知识和语言综合运用能力。Section B 1a在Section A 1a呈现的6种TV shows的基础上增加了comedy，action movie，scary movie等内容。Section B的教学应侧重于引导学生拾记并运用一些描述性形容词，如wonderful，relaxing，meaningless，enjoyable，exciting，boring等，自由谈论电视节目并表达个人的喜好。同
