一、单元分析(Unit Analysis)

(一)单元地位(Unit Position)

本单元是Module 2的第二个单元,在内容上介绍了Ben 和Kitty居住的生活小区和他们的家;在语法结构上它继续介绍并操练一般现在时特殊疑问句的用法;在复习形容词比较级的基础上介绍形容词最高级形式;本单元中出现的序数词是在中学阶段首次出现,而“there be”句型的介绍,为unit 3的教学做了铺垫。

1.词汇学习:1)掌握表示生活小区中的设施和建筑物的名称

2)复习表示不同功能房间的词汇

3)学会用介词词组表示不同的方位

教学过程:

1.做“词汇归类”这一词汇学习活动来复习并介绍新的词汇。

2.学习课本上第22页“Look and read”,了解“Rose Garden Estate”

的基本情况。

3.让学生利用课本上第22页和23页的图片试着介绍“Rose Garden Est ate”。或请几对学生根据第23页上的例子做对话来

介绍“Rose Garden Estate”。

4.展示收集到的小区示意图或规划图【详见参考资料中的the plan of a housing estate sample】,让学生模仿书本上的例子口头介绍

这些小区的基本情况。再模仿书本上的对话根据这些图纸编写

对话并表演。

5.把活页资料第37, 38 和39页发给每个学生。要求学生剪下活页资料上的小图标,用这些图标描画出自己生活的小区的示意

制作班级通讯录

1.学习P24 “Look and learn”,介绍如何用英语写地址,强调中英文在书写地址时的不同。介绍英语电话号码的读法。

2.学习P24 “Look and read”,操练英语地址和电话号码的表达方法。

3.学生根据自己的情况填写“Write, ask and answer” Part A。

4.把活页资料第40页发给每个小组。小组成员间以P24上的对话为例子互相提问,得到彼此的地址和电话号码。

然后,各小组填写活页资料第40页,完成自己小组的通讯录。

5.把各小组的通讯录收齐,编制成一本班级通讯录。.

制作个人身份证

3.完成后请部分同学向全班展示自己做的身份证并做口头的自我介绍。

语言功能任务3 介绍自己居住的房屋,描述自己理想的房屋

课前准备:准备好活页资料第43页和【详见参考资料中的Plans of flats】教学过程:

1.用猜谜语这一词汇学习的活动复习单词(bedroom, bathroom, sitting-room and kitchen)。

2.向全班展示一张房型图,假设教师是这套房子的主人,教师向全班介绍这套房子。

3.向全班展示多张房型图,请学生根据P26 “About you”的例子,通过问答的形式描绘这些房子。

4.把活页资料第43页发给每个学生,要求学生画出自己理想中的房型图。

5.把班级分成若干小组。在每组中选出一位同学扮演房产代理商。

S2: S1 is older than S3. S3 is older than S4. S1 is the oldest.

3.学生制作好自己的房型图后,请学生互相比较各套房间的大小。

e.g. S1: My flat has 4 rooms. It’s bigger than S2’s.

综合运用任务

教学进度表 对教材的分析与理解 教材内容: Book 3A contains core language learning material, using a wide variety of text-types and activities to introduce language; poems; stories, cartoons, dialogues and practical tasks all engage the student at his/her personal level. At lower levels, care has been taken to ensure that pupils are learning within familiar ,comfortable contexts so that the language is appropriate to their needs and interests. At higher levels, students’ knowledge of the world is taken into account as well. Student involvement is encouraged throughout Oxford English by tasks and activities that focus on interaction; teacher to student(s), in groups and in pairs.
