"Cool" is a word with many meanings. Its old meaning is used to express a temperature that is a little bit cold. As the world has changed, the word has also got many different meanings.

One possible version
I had a chance to visit Hainan Island last summer. We flew to Haikou first, which is the capital city of Hainan Province with wide streets and tall palm trees. We took a bus trip around the city and toured Hairui Tomb. The second stop was Sanya where we played on the beach with white sand and clear sea water. The third place was Xinglong which had a botanic garden where we saw all kinds of plants. In the evening, we watched a dance show and enjoyed ourselves very much. The last day brought us to Qionghai city where the Wanquan River flows into the South China Sea.
This trip to the beautiful island left a deep impression on me which made me love our motherland even more deeply.
