一、教学内容
外研版小学英语六年级上册第五模块第一单元第二课时:Unit 1 3. Listen and say.
4. Practise. Unit 2

二、教学目标
1.大多数学生能够听、说、读、写单词或短语:pleased,pen,friend,address,can
2.大多数学生能够听懂并用句型:Can you...? Can I …?讲述自己的能力,通过介绍自己的情况结识笔友或网友。
3. 能够运用所学的语目知识与同伴进行交流。
三、教学重难点
重点:
1. 听、说、读、写单词和短语:pleased,pen friend,address,can。
2.学习句型“Can you...? Can I...? I can...
难点:
1.用句型“Can you...? Can I...? I can...”讲述自己的能力,通过介绍自己的情况结识笔友或网友。
2. pen friend 与pen pal 的用法。
3. pleased开心的,意思和glad /nice相似。
四、教学准备
1.单词卡片。
2.同步课文录音、课文动画。
3.第2课时教学课件。
五、教学设计
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Use the word cards to play a missing game to revise the new words of last lesson.
2. Use the picture of the text of last lesson to revise the dialogue of Unit 1 Activity 2. 设计思路:通过游戏和卡片以及电子课文复习了前面所学到的知识,提高了学生的英语学习兴趣和积极性,让学生快速地进入学习状态。
Step 2 Preview
老师提出以下几个问题:
1. What can you do?
2. Can you speak English?
3. Can you make pen friends in all kinds of ways?
设计思路:这三个问题的设置,可以起到承上启下的作用。
使第一环节自然过渡到第二个环节,第二环节又自然过渡到本节课重点部分,即下面的新授环节。
Step 3 Presentation
1.Activity 3 Listen and say.
After revising the dialogue,let the students pick out the following sentences in the dialogue?
A: Can you speak English?
B: Yes, I can speak some English.
A: Can you be my Chinese pen friend?
B: Yes, of course. This is my address in China.
Then let them listen to the tape and repeat after the tape. Next, let the whole class practise in halves. Close the book and recite the dialogues together. At last, ask students individually to recite the dialogue in the class.
2.Activity 4 Practise.
T: Good! You did a very good job. Next let’s have a competition to make sentences. Let s see whose sentence is the longest.
eg:
He can dance and I can play the piano. He can dance,she can play the piano and I can play football.
Let the students go on making sentences like that.
3.Unit 2 Activity 5 Listen and say. Then sing.
PPT呈现P30歌曲,播放录音或动画Let the students listen to the song. Then sing the song after the tape or flash.
Then let the students sing the song in groups, stand up and do some actions at the
same time.
设计思路:本环节的设计主要是对本单元的单词和句型进行进一步的巩固和训练,通过游戏和竞赛等各种各样的操练形式来操练单词、重点句型和对话,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中巩固和运用所学的新知。
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
活动:
我校正在开展感恩教育,准备去养老院帮助孤寡老人做些家务。
你能为他们做些什么?请用句型“I can…”造几个句子,如:I can wash the clothes.
然后与同桌交流,使用句型“Can you...?”。
设计思路:本环节设计了一个活动,使学生在合作探究中完成学习任务,运用所学的新知识。
Step 5 Homework
1. 听Activity 3 Listen and say部分录音,模仿表演。
2. 用句型“I can+动词原形”写几句话。

本节课主要是继续学习用句型Can you...? Can I...? I can…讲述自己的能力,通过介绍自己的情况结识笔友或网友。
