As we know, How to keep safe at school is especially important to us students,so we should try our best to make sure we are safe. Here are some tips to help keep us safe.
First of all, what we should do is that dangerous things mustn’t be brought to school, such as knives, lighters and so on, because they may hurt others. Second, It’s suggested that we are supposed to be friendly and get on well with others, so we aren’t allowed to quarrel or even fight. In addition, I think it necessary for us to obey the traffic rules on our way to school or we may have accidents. Moreover , it is wise of us to stay away from bad people and never stay outside alone at night. Besides，what we must remember to do is that we should take care not to get ourselves injured while we are having sports.Most importantly,, don’t crowd with each other especially when we go upstairs or downstairs, or there may be an accident. Finally ,there is no doubt that we’d better eat healthy food and keep away from junk food which is harmful to our health.
All in all, I think it is very important for us to keep safe. When we meet an emergency, we can turn to our parents or teachers for help. If everyone can follow the rules, I’m sure all of us can live in peace.

I’m so glad that you will visit Guangzhou as an exchange student. To help you learn more about the culture in Guangzhou and get used to the life , I have made the following plans for you.
T he first thing I’ll do is to show you around the city, especially some places of interest , such as the Guangdong Museum and the Canton Tower. It’s a good chance to learn about the colourful Cantonese culture and history. After that, I think the most important part that we w on’t miss is to taste some traditional delicious food together . For example, we can taste different kinds of dim-sums as well as wonton noodles. What’s more, if you are interested in operas, the Guangzhou Opera House is the best place for us to enjoy some wonderful shows . I’m certain that you’ll relax yourself after a long day’s walk there.
There is no doubt that many other exciting activities prepared well are waiting for you. To be honest, the natural beauty is well worth enjoying, we are going to climb the Baiyun Mountain together and take a boat trip on the Pearl River at night. What a good time we’ll have!

Breakfast is important in our daily lives. But its importance hasn’t been realized by all the students . Our school made a survey about whether students have breakfast or not, and the result is worrying.
About 55% of students would like to have breakfast regularly every day, so they can keep healthy and become full of energy. However, 25% of them are willing to have junk food instead. Their unbalanced diet is bad for their health. What’s worse , 20% of them are likely to go to school without breakfast. They think they can even avoid putting on weight by not eating breakfast. As a result, this stops them from focusing on classes, and they may feel hungry in class as well as get sick easily
To make the things better , what we ought to do is to awake students’ awareness of having breakfast because it plays an important role in keeping healthy. Apart from that, it is strongly suggested that we should eat the right kinds of food for breakfast.
1. In many cities, keeping pet dogs is a kind of fashion. However, different people have different opinions on it .
Some people think it is a good idea to keep pet dogs. Firstly, happiness can be brought to people by them. Besides, with them, old people and children without brothers or sisters will not feel lonely any more. What’s more, when you are walking dogs, you can take some exercise at the same time. According to some people, keeping pet dogs is also a good way to learn to care about lives and help them become more responsible people.
However, every coin has two sides . Others are afraid that dogs may cause some problems. On one hand, they are the makers of noise. It is their fault to stop people from getting any sleep. On the other hand,, a small number of them can cause illnesses. Apart from that , keeping a pet dog needs so much time and money to take care of it that not everyone can afford it.
In conclusion, it is common for people to have different opinions. No matter whether you like or not, the only thing we should do is to remember not to kill or hunt them for money or for fun. Live in harmony with them and be kind to them. 2. In recently years, some districts are planning to include swimming in the examination of physical education. And they made a survey about it in some schools. Here’s the result from one school.
About 57 per cent of students would like to have swimming lessons at school because it can help build up our body as well as guard against illness. Apart from that, swimming is a survival skill when we face some natural disasters. Another reason is that it is a good choice to go swimming to relax ourselves when we are free.
However, 43 percent of students are against this plan. On one hand, some of them are afraid of getting in the water. On the other hand, it may be dangerous for those who have no basic skills of swimming . What’s worse, students may be more likely to catch a cold when they swim at a low temperature.
Each coin has two sides. As far as I’m concerned, it is strongly sugges ted that we should have swimming lessons. It can not only improve my health but also relax myself after classes.
(From my point of view, it’s not a good way to have swimming lessons at school because sometimes it’s difficult to keep the water clean. )
?Recently, iPad has been widely used i n class in China. Some of them has proved the success of using iPad for study. And it makes people think about
whether using iPad for study is good or not.
?There are many advantages of using iPad for study. First, it can provide some background knowledge which can help us have a better understanding of what we learn ,such as photos, stories and videos. Second, iPad is small
enough to be easily carried,so students can use iPad to study anytime and

use it for a long time. Last but not least, students may depend on iPad to get

In recent years in China, there has been a rapid growth in mobile payment, even the small business can be finished by this advanced way. It is obvious that there are some advantages of mobile payment .
Firstly, Compared with traditional means like paying in cash or credit card , mobile payment is faster and more convenient, so it saves people’s time to pay bills by not waiting in line. In addition, note can hardly be used, so many trees will avoid being cut down. That is to say , it is also friendly to the environment

The clothes are the first thing I’ll talk about. They will become much lighter in addition to being able to control the temperature so that we will keep warm in winter and cool in summer. What’s more, we will have healthier and more kinds of delicious food from all over the world. Apart from that, we will comfortably live in the house which will be more intelligent as well as more environmentally-friendly as a result of the solar power used by all electrical appliances . Finally,the most amazing and exciting thing is about the way of going out. China dreams are made up of all Chinese people’s dreams. Every time I am asked what I’d like to do in the future. Without hesitation毫不犹豫, I firmly tell them that being a teacher is my dream job.
The teacher is the engineer of human soul as well as the most lofty career in the sun.
I dream of becoming a teacher when I’m older, and I hope to work in my old school because I want to reward my tea chers for teaching me so well, I’ll also try my best to teach my students as my teachers taught me. It has done harm to people’s health, which also makes our city worse than before. But what should we do to stop it from being worse.
To make Guangzhou a beautiful city, we should make a great effort to do the following things. On one hand, we should take action to deal with the environmental problems. Now we will leave our school and enter a senior middle school. I have some personal suggestions to share with you.
First , you should form some good habits. For example, you’d better listen to teachers carefully in class and take some notes to help you go over what you have learnt . In addition , I find it necessary to keep a healthy lifestyle because it is the key to success of study. You ought to keep a balanced diet and have a good habit of having enough sleep. If so, you can focus your attention on your classes. Meanwhile, you should get on well with your classmates and show respect for teachers. Being friendly to others is what you have to remember. Then sharing things with others can further help you. Moreover, reading is a good habit because it can not only enrich your knowledge but also open your eyes and minds. So no matter how busy you are, reading habits should be kept by you every day. Apart from that, it is normal for us students to feel under stress . A good way to relax yourselves is to do more exercises in your spare time as well as watch some movies which can make you happy.

Another important handicraft which won’t be missed is Shadow puppets which are mainly in five colours such as green ,black .its moveable hands and legs can make its show

In addition , Sugar painting plays an important role in memory of childhood because it is not only beautiful but also has a good taste most children enjoy. It is completely made of sugar, so it is usually in the colour of sugar, yellow or golden. There is no doubt that the last handicraft I’d like to describe is also the most important and traditional in Chinese cultures, which is Paper cutting. For paper cutting, nothing is required except for a pair of scissors and some red paper. Skilled craftspeople can cut out different kinds of patterns, such as children,
animals ,flowers，and so on. They are usually stuck on the windows or lanterns to express the feelings of joy,best wishes and good luck.

We have only one earth and it is the home to human beings as well as animals. However, as time goes by, people are doing something that makes the earth in danger of being polluted. It is a pity / there is no doubt that pollution is being caused by our bad habits. For example, People cut down so many trees that the forest is destroyed. It is awful of people to throw rubbish everywhere. Besides, even some factories give out harmful gases without doing anything to it and pour some waste water into rivers directly. As a result, the rivers get dirty and the air is also seriously polluted. What’s worse,the gree nhouse effect cause the Earth’s temperature to increase, so we have more abnormal weather than before.
It’s our duty to protect the environment. First, we should save water and electricity by turning off the taps, fans, TV sets and lights in time when they aren’t needed. I suggest that the student who leaves the classroom last should turn off the lights to save electricity. What’s more, water should be reused by us. Don’t let the last drop of water becomes the last drop of our tear. Moreover , it is good to make full use of paper. We should use both sides of the paper. By doing this, we can save many trees. We can also plant more trees or refresh the air around us. Apart from that, remember to go shopping with cloth bags instead of plastic bags, as plastic bags do harm to the environment, please try your best not to use plastic bags. Last but not least, It’s also a good way to protect the environment if we ride bikes or walk to school.
In short , Protecting the environment is saving ourselves. I think if each of us can start out small and take effective action to protect our environment, we can make a difference to it.
My Life in London
Four months ago, I took part in an exchange programme and got the chance to go to England. I learnt a lot during my stay in London.
As we know, London, the capital of England , lies in the southeast of England. On weekdays, I had lessons with my classmates. I failed to understand a lot during the first few days. For this reason, I had to spent lots of time practising speaking English and I took part in all kinds of activities to improve my oral English as well as make my life colourful. At the weekends, it was a pleasure for me to go shopping and eat some delicious food. What’s more, there was no doubt that visiting places of interest in London such as the London Eye and Big Ben was exactly the most exciting thing that I had ever done . As a result, I had a better understanding of the culture and history of England.
In short, it was a valuable education for me. On one hand ,It can not only enrich my knowledge but also help me get some social skills . On the other hand, through this experience, I became more independent. I am looking forward to my next exchange programme.
Reading Festival
The activity o f “Reading Festival” is being held in our school from November, 2017. Reading is good for us in many ways. We can learn a lot of knowledge from reading and it can make us wise. It can not only help us learn more about the world but also bring us happiness. Meanwhile, reading can help us get higher marks in some subjects such as Chinese and English. So reading is useful and it’s very important for us to have good reading habits.（承上启下）
Keeping reading every day is a good habit. We should spend at least 30 minutes in reading after class. Try to take some notes while reading. Also, we can read some masterworks and then share our thoughts and feelings with each other, which can make us more interested in reading. What’s more, it’s a good idea to write a book re view after reading. Moreover, a book corner can be set up in our classroom so that we can read at any time after class.
