船舶安全实用英语手册
本手册旨在提高公司安全人员与船方人员（外籍）沟通和交流的能力，把实际工作中涉及的交际用语和专业术语结合起来，以日常对话的形式成文。
本手册共可分为两大部分：一部分是工作性质的交流对话，涉及船舶进场、VSCC会议、作业审批、发现船方问题的处理、环境保护、消防与应急管理等六大章节；另一部分是常用句子和词汇的速查，对业务类型进行分门别类，以便于使用者在工作中的快速查找。虽然内容并不十分详尽，但也不失为一本实用性较强的口袋型手册。
本手册的编写过程中，注重与实际工作的紧密结合，且涵盖了多方面的作业和安全措施，但难免有所疏漏，还希望使用者能多提宝贵意见，以便手册的不断完善。

Before painting,please make sure that the gas free inspection and oxygen content measurement are carried out and tank is allowed for entry,please check the work condition of ventilation fan and explosion-proof lighting,set up warning board properly and arrange fire watch watchman around.
油漆作业需要落实通风、防爆照明等防爆措施，并且要拉设好警示区，并安排专人监护，防止周边有热工作业。
You also must apply the hot work permit with assistance of Hull Supervisor.Before cutting and renewing the accommodation guardrails, any inflammable materials around must be removed.We will go and check together whether those work touch the accommodation room and oil tank.
由船体主管协助你们进行热工作业申请，生活区护栏割换需要注意其周围是否有易燃物，是否涉及房间、油舱等部位，这些会后我们一起去确认。
For the name repaint work,please make sure the workers are well protected by safety belt and life jacket.
船头外板涂船名作业，请船方做好相关防护，比如系好安全绳、穿好救生衣等。

SS:机舱厂方今天有清油作业，严禁热工作业。所以CO2管割换请船方待清油作业结束并报验合格才可以。动火之前要清除相关易燃物并联系机电主管申请热工作业，这是非常重要的！

SS:This part of the pipes in the engine room are set at the top of main engine,so we need to build scaffolding when working on a high place and put fireproofing cloth on the platform of the scaffolding to prevent the spark splashing all around.
SS:机舱内这部分管子位于主机上方,高处作业需搭设脚手架，并且要在脚手架平台上铺好防火布，防止火花四处飞溅。
Working on the scaffolding,we must wear safety belt.At the same time, the power of the cable which on the top of engine room must be turn off, and the cable should be protected to prevent any damage.
在脚手架上作业时必须要挂好安全带，同时机舱顶部电缆必须断电，并要用防火布包裹防止烫伤。
There are a lot of oily water is under the main engine and tail shaft.
Before hot work,we must clean it.
下方发动机附近、尾轴部位有大量污油水，热工作业前必须清洁。
The area under the working position must be isolated with warning tape to keep unrelated people away.The two oil drums under the pipes must be moved5meters away from the safe zone.Fire watchmen with fire extinguisher and fire hose with pressure stand by during working time.
作业部位下方需拉设警戒区域，禁止无关人员入内,管子下方的两个油桶
必须移到5米以外的安全地带。并且要被好灭火器、消防水带并保压，并设专人监护。
C/E:Oh!My gosh！We just want to cut and renew the CO2pipes.Why so many safety precautions?
C/E:哦，我的天哪！我们仅仅是割换CO2管，为什么要落实这么多措施？SS:Because this is in the engine room which has many inflammable and explosive substances.If you don’t keep highly caution,it may cause a serious accident.I think you definitely do not want an accident.
