英语四六级作文类型具体讲解及常用经典句型
在四级考试中，我们常常会遇到要我们就两种对立的观点表明自己的态度的题目。请大家看看此类题型的几个例子：
例1：标题：Is Failure a Bad Thing? （1992, 6）
1. 失败是常有的事
2. 人们对失败有各种不同的态度
3. 我对失败的态度
例2：标题：Can Money Buy Happiness? (1995, 1)
1. 有人认为金钱是幸福之本（source of happiness）
2. 也有人认为金钱是万恶之源（root of all evil）
3. 我的看法
例3：标题：Reading Selectively or Extensively? (1999, 6)
1. 有人认为读书要有选择
2. 有人认为应当博览群书

可见，阐述对立观点型作文的标题往往以问句的形式出现，而且题目往往可以改写为两种对立的观点或做法。例如例1-3的标题就可以改写为：
阐述对立观点型作文的中文提纲则往往是这样的：
1．有（些）人认为……
2．也有（些）人认为……
3．我的看法/观点
第三节阐述对立观点型作文的篇章结构和写作方法
在动手写阐述对立观点型作文前，我们必须根据所提供的中文提纲，考虑一下这类文章的篇章结构以及实现其篇章结构的一些常用的模式或套路，以便使文章的组织显得有条理，层次分明，脉络清晰。
6.3.1 阐述对立观点型作文的两种篇章结构及其写作套路
6.3.1.1 篇章结构1
第一段：引言（引出讨论的主题（X），提出两种对立的观点（A和B），有时还可略提及支持这两种观点的理由）
第二段：正文（表明自己的看法，阐述自己支持某一观点的理由，或/和驳斥自己反对的观点）
第三段：结论（总结全文，重申自己的观点）
这种篇章结构的重点放在表达自己的观点上，更能充分地阐述自己的观点，使自己的观点更充实、更有说服力。
套路1：
①People’s views/ideas/opinions on X vary from person to person. Some people think that

6.3.1.3 篇章结构
对立观点型作文也可采用另一种篇章结构：
第一段：引出讨论的主题（X），提出第一种观点（A），阐述支持这一观点的理由
第二段：提出第二种观点（B），阐述支持这一观点的理由
第三段：表明自己的观点，阐述自己的理由，或批驳反对的观点
第四段：总结全文，重申自己的观点，或呼吁别人采取行动
这种篇章结构用于阐述A、B两种对立的观点和自己的观点的笔墨都差不多，会给人“平均用力”的感觉，不能像第一种篇章结构那样突出自己的观点。为了避免给人留下这种印象，在阐述自己支持的观点及其理由时，可多用些笔墨，而在阐述自己反对的观点及其理由时，则可相对简略些。
6.3.1.4 篇章结构2的写作套路
套路3：
①When asked about X, different people will offer different opinions/views/answers. Some people think/prefer that ②________________. They hold this idea/opinion/view because ③____________________. ④However/On the other hand, there are still many people who won’t agree. They argue that ⑤_______________. 值得注意的是，不论采用哪种写作套路，在表明自己的看法后，一定要阐述自己支持这一观点的理由，这样才能使自己的观点显得有说服力。
6.3.1.5 对立观点型作文的段落发展方法
在写对立观点型作文时，阐述两种对立的观点时往往可以采用对照法（见第一讲）展开段落，而在阐述自己支持的观点的理由时，则可采用列举法或举例法（见第一讲）展开段落。这样，文章才可能显得既有条理，又有说服力.
关于语言质量：
一、选词的正确性和多变性
所谓词汇的正确性是指，我们在有一个词近而想到它的同义词之后，要结合语境选择恰当的用词。在这里必须指明的是，并不是词汇等级越高越好，必须还要考虑到适合于不同的语境。我们在写作的时候首先要保证选择词语的正确性。在英文当中有很多单词的中文意思是相同的，但是具体的含义并不相同，这是就需要考生判断应该选择哪个单词来表达自己想表达的含义。
另外，词汇一定要多变。写作时尽量不要让相同的单词同时出现在一篇文章当中，我们可以用其他的单词进行替代。在替代的过程中，我们要尽量选择一些有难度的单词进行替代。如“主要的原因”：main reasons. “主要的”可以替代为：primary, essential, crucial, indispensable, Fundamental等。丰富多变的用词是文章的最大亮点。
二造句
英文写作中一个重要的创作规律就是追求语言的丰富多变，在文章中除了词的多变以外，我们还可以丰富句型句式。在英语中，有很多的特殊句式都可以成功的成为文章的闪光点，如：倒装句，强调句，插入语等。如：Only in this way can we solve this problem.这就是一个很简单的倒装句。
很多考生平时写作不太擅长用词组，对于他们而言最习惯的就是想到汉语，然后对应汉语思维写出英语句子，这种写作只能是单词的罗列组合，谈不上什么技巧文采可言，因此，写出来的文章必然就是所谓平淡无味，并不是地道的英文。如果我们能够在单词的基础上，进一步想到与之同义的词组，那么文章就会显得与众不同，更具有英语的味道。比如下面这样一个简单的例子：

用词是非常重要的一个环节。词汇使用得当，不仅使文章更生动，也是评分时的加分亮点。以下向各位四六级考生提供考试三十组考试中可频繁使用的优美词汇及例句。考试时用上它们，以替代你现有的普通词汇，可以瞬间点亮平淡无奇的文章。
1、individuals,characters, folks替换(people ,persons)
2、positive, favorable, rosy (美好的)，promising (有希望的)，perfect, pleasurable , excellent, outstanding, superior替换good
3、dreadful, unfavorable, poor, adverse, ill (有害的)替换bad 如果bad做表语，可以有be less impressive替换

注：用many, if not most 一定要小心，many后一定要有词。

写作模板——图表式作文
