Unit 10

1 The actions that people are asked to take are so small as to seem meaningless, and many people simply lose hope, or are becoming increasingly cynical. (?副词翻译:simply常常会漏译,但是不译的话就会减弱语气。) 要求人们做的事情都很小,因此常常显得毫无意义。很多人干脆就不抱希望了,或变得越来越愤世嫉俗。
