根据湖南省教育厅和湖南省教育考试院的有关通知，2011年下半年全国大学英语等级考试(包括大学英语四级、六级和英语应用能力A 级)定于12月17-18日举行，现将报名的有关事项通知如下：
一、报名对象：
所有全日制在校在籍的2010级、2009级、2008级、2007级的本、专科学生（含国际学院、涉外学院），所有全日制在校在籍的研究生。
继续教育学院的学生、外校学生、已毕业的学生不得报名。
二、报名条件：
报考CET-4的专科学生必须通过英语应用能力A 级考试；
报考六级的学生必须持有四级过级证或CET4成绩单总分在425分（含425分）以上，任何人不得越级报考，违者取消其报名资格并不予退费；
已通过英语应用能力A 级考试的学生不允许再参加相同级别的考试，考生不能同时报考两个等级，违者取消报名资格并不予退费。
三、收费标准：
英语应用能力A 级：25元/人，四级：26元/人，六级：28元/人。
四、报名时间：
涉外校区：2011年9月28日至9月29日。
校本部：2011年9月27日至9月29日。

六、网上报名步骤
1、本部学生以班为单位于9月23日至9月29日（周末不收费）期间到校财务处(长沙校区行政办公楼三楼)，涉外校区的学生领取到班级编号后于9月28日至9月29日到涉外一教楼208考试中心交费；
2、本部学生凭缴款收据单到网上报名，在点击下面的“哦，我明白了”就可以进入报名界面，在发票编号一栏填写发票右上角的编号（涉外的学生填写班级编号），在发票密码一栏自己输入密码后并记住密码，后面内容按实际情况填写。
在提交信息时，如发现本人信息有错也不能修改，只能到考试中心打印出信息核对单后再修改。涉外学院和研究生院的学生学号前的“S”也不能去掉。
3、网上报名后，请必须在规定的报名时间内到考试中心提交并核对数据，否则报名无效：
1）涉外校区的学生到涉外一教学208室（考试中心）提交数据并核对报名信息。
2）长沙各校区的学生到长沙（东）主教学楼N305室（考试中心）提交数据并核对报名信息。
4、领取带相片信息校对单。领取时间：10月9日-10月10日。考生在核对完信息后必须再签字并于10月13日前交回，没有照片或照片错误的学生要到报名地点交近期一寸彩色相片或电子照片，电子照片可发到znlzhaopian@https://www.doczj.com/doc/a714650037.html,邮箱。
七、考试时间：
CET-4和CET-6考试时间为2011年12月17日；
应用能力A级为2011年12月18日。
八、注意事项：
1、由于教育部考试中心不受理“错误信息更改”，请考生报名时认真填写（核对）姓名、性别、等级、身份证号等有关信息，如因填写（核对）错误，后果由考生自负；
2、英语应用能力A级、四、六级考试均采用电台播放听力部分，考生必须自备耳机；
3、考生必须自备正规2B铅笔和橡皮，考点不提供考试专用铅笔和橡皮；
4、考生一律凭居民身份证和准考证参加考试。遗失身份证的考生，必须尽快补办，否则，不准进入考场。
5、2008级本科生（不含艺术、广告、音乐、体育及职教生）必须参加全国大学英语四级考试且达到425分才授予学士学位，学校不再组织相关的学位英语考试。

英语应用能力Ａ、Ｂ级考试翻译题型探析 [摘要]本文从高职高专学生英语应用能力考试的考核目标出发,对传统翻译题型和A、B级翻译题型的利弊进行了分析,并测评了A、B级翻译题型的教与学效果。在实践中,笔者对不同层次的教学对象采用了灵活多样的翻译题型。通过尝试和比较,提出了在语境完整的一段英文中,抽取其中几个典型句子作为英译汉最具挑战性,更能达到考核学生综合能力和提高学生灵活运用能力的目的。 [关键词]A、B级考试翻译效果实践能力 一、前言 全国高等学校英语应用能力考试(PRETCO)简称英语应用能力考试,分为A、B两个级别,能力要求相当于大学英语三级水平,B级为高职高专学生应达到的最低标准要求,B级标准略低于A级,是过渡性要求。A、B级考试根据我国高职院校英语教学的实际和发展的需要,贯彻“实用为主,够用为度”的方针,在同一基础上设置两个级别的考试,既考查学生必备的英语语言基础知识,也测试与涉外业务有关的内容。由于A、B级注重基础的语法结构和应用能力,在难易程度和词汇量等方面有别于本科院校的四、六考试,因此,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣和主动性。 从2000年英语等级考试制度改革后的A、B级考试情况和平常的教学效果来看,笔者认为翻译题型存在一定的束缚性,值得商讨。虽然出题形式改变,但教与学效果不理想,有待于我们总结分析,找出一种更好的题型来测评和提高学生的运用能力。 二、翻译题型分析 翻译题型的变化从一个侧面体现出随着语言测试的发展,更加突出了对考生应用能力的检测。语言测试和评估的发展总趋势,在语言理论上将从重形式转向重语言运用;从测试个别技能转向测试多项技能;从孤立测试语言技能转向几种技能混合测试;从客观题一统天下转向主观题大量增加,语言测试更加以人为本(人性化)。 1.传统翻译题型
