Comic strip and welcome to the unit

Teaching Aims:

1. Learn some new words about shopping.

2. Arouse the students’ interests in talking about shopping.

3. each 每个注意以下情况:

Each of them has a new house now. (谓语用单数)

= They each have a new house now. (谓语用复数)

4. buy sth. for sb. = buy sb. sth. 给某人买某物

= Do you often buy your parents presents?

5. different kinds of …不同种类的……

There are many different kinds of birds in this area.

6. enough adj & adv 足够

We still have enough time. 我们还有足够的时间。

The room is big enough for two beds.

这房间足够可以放下两张床。

enough 修饰形容词和副词时必须后置。

7. I’ll take them. 我就买下他们吧。

= I’ll buy them.

8. Here’s your change. 这是找给你的零钱。

9. different from = different to 与……不同

Chinese food is different from/ to Western food.

中餐与西餐不同。

★some, any 既可修饰可数名词也可修饰不可数名词。

一般疑问句的构成是将动词be移到句首。

Are there any pictures on the wall?

4) 当there be 后面有两个或两个以上的名词时,动词be要与它最近的名词保

持一致(即:就近原则)。如:

There is an eraser and two pencils in the box.

There are two pencils and an eraser in the box.

5) there be 表示“存在”的状态,即:某处有……,而have则表示“拥有”,即:某人或某物拥有……。

There be + 某人或某物+ 介词短语.

某人或某物+ have + 某人或某物.

There is a book on the desk.

I have a new watch now.

★当表示一个整体所拥有的部分时两者都可用,如:

There are six windows in the walls of our classroom.

= Our classroom has six windows.
