Most dogs bark. They bark to communicate with humans and to express themselves. Understanding the reason why your dog barks is the first step towards controlling its behavior. In general, dogs will bark for the following reasons:

Warning: It is natural for a dog to bark when someone is at the door or when strangers pass the house or the car. Many dogs will

bark if they feel some types of danger. The sounds of these barks are usually sharp and loud. These barks help to protect your home and family.

Excitement: This type of barks is especially common in young dogs. Many dogs will bark while playing with people or other dogs. Some dogs will bark excitedly when they know they are about to go for a walk.

Fire Prevention Information

The University of Adelaide employs a full-time staff of fire prevention professionals. They inspect all campus buildings and test and maintain all sprinkler(喷水灭火装置)systems, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers(灭火器). They also provide educational programs on fire safety in the residence halls. Whenever you move to a new

area, you should locate the fire alarm pull stations and the two exits nearest your room.

Fire Alarms

Smoke Detectors
