In my opinion, the relationship between parents and children should be one filled with love, care and understanding, in which parents and children show respect to each other and exchange ideas freely. To build a relationship of this kind, parents should become friends of their children while children ought to place more trust in their parents and give voice to their feelings frankly.
Only in this way can we enjoy a harmonious relationship between parents and children.

Let’s make our city greener
We all live in this city. However, as everybody can see, there are fewer and fewer trees around us.
With the rapid development of the economy, more and more buildings have been set up. A lot of green land has been changed into modern buildings. And we can't see green trees and colorful flowers any longer.
The city is our home. We should love our home and spare no effort to make it more beautiful. It’s of great necessity for us to plant more trees, flowers and grass around our city. By doing so, not only can we make our city much cleaner and more beautiful, we can also improve the quality of the environment.

It is of great importance to protect the environment by leading a low-carbon lifestyle which is environmentally friendly.
Firstly, planting trees in a park on weekends with your friends will be a good choice. Because by doing so, the air will be refreshed and the environment where we live will be beautified.
Besides, if I were you, I would walk to school instead of driving so that the gas that does harm to our health will be reduced effectively.

Falling on the first day of the first Chinese lunar month, it’s time for family reunion. Before the festival, we always put up red couplets on doors, as special symbols of good luck. On the eve of the Spring Festival, we enjoy a grand feast usually with dumplings. Over the festival, adults enjoy the company of families, while children get thrilled about the money in red envelopes, which stands for the best wishes from the senior. Everything on this occasion is full of joy and happiness, bringing hopes for the promising coming year.
I love the Spring Festival not only because of the tasty foods and joyful gifts, but because it offers the whole family a precious opportunity to gather together and show love and care to each other.

Its charm lies in not only its history but also its modernization. With its fast development, Beijing is home to millions of people from different cities and countries. It also provides a fine situation for the advancement of modern art, education and high technologies.
In Beijing, many places of interest are worth visiting, such as the Summer Palace, the Great Wall, and the Temple of Heaven, since they all enjoy great fame. It’s very important to be confident. Self-confidence can bring us courage to stick to what we do. So it’s valuable to us.
When I was in Grade 7, once my teacher asked me to make a speech in class. Although I practiced it for many times at home, I still felt nervous and forgot the
words at the beginning of it. Then I breathed deeply and relaxed myself. You can’t believe how happy I was when I recalled the speech and finished it successfully. My teacher thought highly of my performance and I got much encouragement from my classmates. From then on, I have become more and more confident.
To build confidence, firstly we need to clearly know about our own advantages and try to develop them. It is the most important that we should put in enough effort to what we do. Then we can finally make it and gain more confidence.

I still remember that unforgettable experience. When I got to the middle school, I was very anxious to the unfamiliar environment. Moreover, I didn’t know how to learn English well. Therefore, I asked my English teacher for help. She was very worm-hearted and willing to help me.
She suggested that I should listen to the radio in English and watch English films. When we were free, why not learn to sing more English songs? It’s good for our listening and speaking.
