We‘ve been hiding in the ?Secret Annexe‘ for a whole year now.
You know a lot about our lives, but there is so much that I cannot
tell you. To help you understand how different our lives are from
ordinary(平常) ti mes, I‘ll give you a description of what happens on
a normal night.
At nine o‘clock, everyone gets ready for bed. Everything has to
be moved around. Chairs are moved and blankets are pulled out. I
