According to a latest survey of hundreds of teenagers in Hong Kong, 54.29% of them would use mobile phones while having dinner with their families. It has influenced communication between children and their parents. It also shows that people are getting used to a new way of being “alone together”, and some people call it “death of conversation”.
It’s true that sending messages or writing micro blog allows us to exchange thoughts and makes us feel closer than ever. But spending too much on mobile phones keeps us away from people around us and reduces* our chances of conversations with strangers and meeting people.
