Information Technology for Management is a bilingual teaching class and English edition textbook is used. The main objects of this class are first to enhance students’abilities to apply their English related to their major. Module 3: Systems development life cycle and systems analysis
一.Systems development. This topic identifies the six core functions in the systems development process. You learn about the key factors associated
with successful systems development projects and the main causes associated
with failed systems development projects.
二.Systems development methods and techniques. This topic defines systems development methodologies. You read about the advantages and
disadvantages of using methodologies, and the comparisons and contrasts

consider approaches to minimizing problems in vendor relationships and
specific clauses in a hardware and software contract.
六.Project management. In this topic, you learn about project uncertainties and the different methods to keep a project on track. You read about factors that
promote successful projects and factors common to failed projects. You also
look at project management tools, such as PERT and Gantt charts. A
multimedia exercise demonstrating PERT charts is included. 七.Feasibility and cost-benefit analyses. This topic explains how feasibility analysis and cost-benefit analysis are integral to systems development. You
learn how to assess the economic, technical, organizational, and schedule
feasibilities to reduce project uncertainty.

Module 5: Systems implementation, testing, and support
一.Systems installation and conversion. This topic describes the three major operations in systems implementation — programming and coding,

Module 8: Managing telecommunications and networks

四.Role of auditing in IS Security. This topic briefly describes security audits of organizational systems and the security plan, which identifies problems that
need to be addressed and recommendations for what needs to be done.
五.Ethical issues. This topic highlights the challenges in ethics presented by information technology and information systems. You read about the
importance of establishing an organizational code of ethics so stakeholders
can understand their rights and responsibilities. The Right Stuff, a video

Module 10: Human side of IS management
