初中英语教学中的听说训练

新一轮课程改革在《纲要》中首先确立了课程改革的核心目标即课程功能的转变:改变课程过于注重知识传授的倾向,强调形成积极主动的学习态度,使获得基础知识与基本技能的过程同时成为学会学习和形成正确价值观的过程。虽然新课程强调培养学生的自主学习能力、创新能力和合作精神,但学校教育还是受到升学指挥棒的影响。教师比较重视识单词、讲语法、背课文,一味强调成绩,造成一部分学生高分低能,一部分学生因屡遭失败而失去学习兴趣。学生学习的教材仅限于教科书,学生接触英语的机会也太少,缺少说英语的氛围,这样学生的知识面不广,阅读、听说交际能力差。任何一种语言口语能力的形成都离不开语言材料大量有效的输入与积累,学习外语也要选择适合中国国情的教学方法和途径。传统的英语教学,常出现“卷面分数高,但交谈能力差”的现象,有人把它称为“哑巴英语”。为了克服这种教学弊端,我在教学中,对学生的听说训练做了如下尝试。

一、创设和谐的课堂环境,让学生注意听、敢于说

英语教学中的听、说训练的一个前提就是用英语授课,面对英语能力不强的学生来说,是感到很抽象的,要使学生能听懂课,引起学生对讲授内容的注意,就必须根据课文内容使用适当的活动。在英语教学中,听说能力的培养已被人们所关注,听力测试已在各级考试中得到重视。我觉得只要在教学过程中,坚持使用英语教学,多给学生机会去练习,多使用一些适合青少年心理的教学方法和手段,学生们听说能力是能够提高的。

(一)、坚持每天的“Everyday English”、

1.Duty report.每一人轮一天。学生用英语打招呼,问好,询问星期、日期、天气、出勤等情况,再谈各自的家庭爱好,也可以把他们学过的知识,运用对话活学活用地表演给同学们看,学生参与积极性高,既锻炼了口语能力,又复习、巩固了旧知识(二)、创设情景语境,提高实际应用能力

1.利用实物进行会话训练,增加实际运用。如教介词in、on、u nder,behind时,将苹果、铅笔、尺子等物品在盒子的不同位置,训练句型:What's this?It's a(an)_____ 和Where's it?It's on(in,under,behind)the box.

2.利用真人真事形象教学。如教形容词三个级别时,叫A,B,C三个高矮不一的同学到讲台前,训练句型:Who's taller,A or B?Who's the tallest,A,B or C?

3.利用插图教学,进行会话表演能力训练。这种形式可以是俩俩间或若干个学生间进行。如利用挂图“The twin's bedroom”看图说话:What can you see in the picture?I can see _____ in it.What other things can you see?What's on the desk(under the bed)?等。教师在一旁加以指点,既增加了学生学习的趣味性,又培养了听说和应用语言的能力。

4.运用游戏,强化听说。如复习、巩固现在进行时一般疑问句的问答时,可叫两位同学到讲台前,A同学背着B同学做一个动作,B同学问全班:Is he playing football?/Is he singing?等等。全班回答Yes,he is./No,he isn't.或者B问A:Are you jumping?/Are you reading a book?等。A回答Yes,I am./No,I'm not.这样反复猜,学生对句型就很熟练了。游戏还可用来猜字母、颜色、职业、岁数、实物、位置、单词等。如:What letter is a kind of drin k?(T tea).What letter is a part of the head?(I,eye).把游戏引入课堂,既活跃了课堂,寓教于乐,加深了对单词和句型的理解和记忆,同时也增加了教学的生动性,形象性,吸引了全班的注意力。(三)、角色扮演

把死记硬背句型、课文,变为活灵活现地应用,增强语言运用能力和口语表达水平。新教材每单元一个主题,以对话或短文形式体现,且图文并茂,内容大多与实际生活紧密相关。所以要尽量在课堂内提供学生运用英语的机会。如Lesson 66,BookⅠ,Could you help m e,please?表现了人与人之间互相帮助,团结协作的精神。又如Les son 89,BookⅠ,What would you like?体现顾客与售货员间的对话用语。这时,讲台变舞台,学生自编、自导、自演,声情并茂,趣味横生,教师适当给予指点。这种表演,不拘泥于课文,鼓励创新,在充分理解所学句型的基础上,提高在交际中应用英语的能力。

(四)、教唱英语歌曲

每节课前唱首简单、通俗易懂且曲调优美的英语歌曲,不仅陶冶了学生们的性情,增加乐感,刺激大脑,引起高度兴奋,而且使思维与语言引起共振,增加流畅感,节奏感,使口语更加通畅,旋律优美,紧扣课文,可达到巩固所学词汇、句型的目的;此外还可利用课余时间教唱一些简短易懂的外国经典名曲,如“DoRe Me”“Edle Weiss”“O ld Lan Sye”等。同时向他们介绍歌曲所在的电影名称、故事情节、背景,使他们更好地理解、欣赏其优美的旋律、增强成功感与自豪感;有些歌曲还可换词套唱,如“Good morning to you”的调子唱“Happy new year to you”,“Happy birthday to you”;用中文歌曲“拍手歌”的调子唱“If you happy,clap your hands.”等。

(五)、加强课外语言实践

学生在没有充分语言环境中学英语,语言信息的复现率极低的情况下,教师与学生必须充分珍惜和利用课余语言空间进行交际活动。主要方法有:1.师生或学生见面时,尽量用英语问候。2.鼓励学生在询问情况、提出疑点、征求意见和向人借东西等的时候,大胆使用英语,如:Excuse me,A?Would you please like _____ ?Can I _____ ?常挂嘴边。3.要求学生通过电话进行交际。根据所学电话用语,让学生给教师或同学、朋友打电话。要尽可能多地创设进行反复语言实践的机会,使学生真正体验到学习英语和用英语交际的乐趣。这样,知识的掌握就牢固,也可为最终达到为交际而学习的目的打下初步基础。在复习课内知识的基础上增加课外知识,开阔学生视野,是课堂

教学的延伸和拓展;英文流行歌曲欣赏与学唱、英文电影赏与学习等,使学生把书本知识与现实生活相有机结合起来,丰富学生课余生活和文化知识,培养学生的学习兴趣,促进学生个性发展,也丰富了语言的表达方式。在第二课堂活动中结合中外节日,让学生领略了西方的文化习俗,如:母亲节、感恩节、圣诞节等,感受到文化的不同内涵;利用板报、橱窗文化,展示学生的英语小文章、手抄报,利用校园艺术节契机,开展英语特色活动, 给他们提供一个展现自我的舞台,如师生共同表演英语诗歌朗诵、英语校园剧表演(《Keep Off the Internet》、《The Rabbit and Tortoise 》等。

二创设和谐英语教育环境——英语学习文化生活的开发

1、营造和谐的英语学习氛围,构建校园学习文化生活,达到以境促情、以情促趣、以趣入胜的目的,使学生在有意无意中接受英语文化的熏陶。

(1)在校园内设置双语标牌、英语专栏,教室门口及走廊张贴用英语书写的文明标语和名人名言,教室内的黑板报、课程表、作息时间表用双语书写。

(2)中午校电视台定时播放英语对话、英语故事、英文歌曲欣赏,各班每天安排半小时学习英语—朗读或会话或学唱英语歌曲。

(3)提倡师生之间、生生之间平时用英语问候。如:文明监督岗值周学生就能用英语向进出校门的老师和同学进行问候。

2、创新英语活动,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,为提高学生的交流合作能力提供舞台,促进学生个性发展。

(1)英语课值日活动、游戏活动、英语班会活动。

(2)、校园艺术节英语活动:英语朗诵活动、英语手抄报编写、英语课本剧、小品表演等。

(3)、积极组织学生参加英语风采大赛。

3、引进外教,实施口语突破。通过外教纯正的发音,提高学生口语交际能力,了解英美文化

总之,听说训练的培养,改变了以教师为中心的“独角戏”、“满堂灌”的教学模式,学生从“怕上英语课”到“爱上英语课”,激发了他们的学习兴趣,调动了学生的主动性、积极性,使学生真正成为课堂教学的主人;在听说训练的过程中,不过多地做语言形式的练习,而是使语言形式与语言意义相联系,使语言形式与学生生活实际相联系,使语言技能逐步发展,由听说促进读写,最终全面提高同学们的英语水平。

一.初中英语阅读理解的解题技巧 阅读理解也是中考英语题的必考题目之一,本题型旨在考查学生阅读,理解的能力,几年来,中考英语题中的阅读理解材料新,题材丰富,考查学生综合推 断能力,根据语篇猜单词意思的能力的力度加大,也考查学生关注细节的能力。 所以学生往往要么没能正确理解语篇中某些句子的意思,在细节题上丢分,要么就是对语篇的整体把握不够,在综合题或者推断题方面丢分。那么到底怎么做好阅读理解这一题型呢?我将从以下三个方面谈论这个问题: 一、解题思路 (一)先读问题,弄清考查要点,以便能带着问题看文章,这样会心中有数,有 的放矢。在读题的时候划出题目的关键词。 (二)快速浏览全文,掌握全貌,注意发现与问题有关的信息,如果时间紧,至 少要扫视一下起首段和尾段。再把标题和文章内容结合起来想一想,这样全文大 意便清楚了。此时,不要忙于答题。 (三)细读原文,捕捉相关信息词,掌握短文细节内容。这是解题的关键,应特 别注意以下几点: 1.抓住四个 "W"和一个 "H" ,就是边读边用铅笔做些标记,把 What ( 事件 ) ,When(时间), Where(地点), Why(原因), How(经过)划出来。抓住了四个“ W”和一个“ H”,就抓住了文章的全貌,一些直接性的问题便可解决。2.抓住连接词及起关键作用的副词、代词、介词、插入语等。因为这些词具有 因果,让步,递进,转折,指代,列举及承上启下等各种连接上下文的特殊功 能。这对考生分清文章层次,辨明各种关系,了解人物心理,推断作者意图,进 行逻辑推理等手段来分析难点,都具有举足轻重的作用。 3.注意领会文章的寓意。 4.根据题意,初选答案。这一步须仔细审题,领会测试要求,确定解题方法。 对那些明显的,有把握的题可以断然确定,不必把其余三个答案再作推敲而浪 费时间:有些略难的题,应再查阅短文(不是重读一遍),迅速找出依据,予以 排除。常用的解题方法有如下几种: ①直接解题法。即从原文中直接找出答案。 ② 归纳解题法。对于不能从原文中直接找出答案的可在把握全文中心和线 索的前题下进行概括、归纳得出正确答案。 ③ 综合推理法。读者需统观全文,认真分析,综合推理及至计算,最后归 纳出正确答案。 题干中有 "suggest,conclude, conclusion,probably,reason, because, according to “等字眼时,属于推断概括型,考查内容着眼于全篇,考 生应具备一定的分析归纳,推理等逻辑思维能力。 ④ 捕捉关键词。在阅读时应该注意与问题相关的同义词,近义词,反义词 或同位词等信息词来得出正确答案。 ⑤ 同意转换法。即原文这么说,而在问题和所选项中则用另外的词去转换 一种说法,但仍表示同一含义。 ⑥ 排除法。根据语言,句法结构,信息词和常识,在没有把握的选项中用 排除法得出正确答案。
