Cinderella
Act 1:
Scene 1: In the house
Long, long ago, there was a cute girl, her name is Cinderella, her mother was dead, and her father loved her very much.
Dad: Dear daughter! These presents are for your birthday!(take a dress) Do you like them?
Cinderella: Yeah, thank you, Dad.（accepted happily）
Dad: My lovely daughter, I hope you can be happy forever!
But one day, her father married a new wife and died unfortunately. Look, her stepmother and her new sisters are coming.
Stepmother : Helen, Jenny, look, how beautiful the house is! （look around ）
Helen: Yes, and so many fruits. Apples，bananas, mangoes . Wow, I like them. (eat fruit)
Jenny:（open bureau）Mum, look, so many beautiful clothes. I like this dress. (try on clothes)
Cinderella：Oh, no, pleas e, that’s my dress. This new dress is bought by my father.
Jenny：Who are YOU? (pushing her away)Mum, who is she?
Stepmother: She is your little sister. But it doesn't matter. Now! Cinderella, go, clean the room and then cook for us. RIGHT NOW! Cinderella: Why? I'm not your servant.
Stepmother: Yeah.（nodding）. But from NOW ON you are our servant. Helen: Mum, I like this dress.
Jenny：I like her necklace. (snatch it)
Cinderella：Oh, no, PLEASE!!! (crying)
After that, Cinderella had to been their servant. She worked and worked from morning to night.（Cinderella doing housework）She had no room to live and she have to sleep in sofa; she had no good food to eat and good clothes to wear. She was more and more dirty.
Scene 2:In the house
（Soldier is knocking）
Stepmother: Who is it?
Soldier: I'm the soldier of the palace. (open the door)Good morning, madam, this letter is from the palace, for you and other girls in this house. Good-bye, madam!
Stepmother: What is it? (open the letter and call for her daughter)Helen, Jenny, good news! There will be a big dancing party in the palace. Prince Edward will select a queen among the young girls in this kingdom. Helen: Hooray! I'll be the queen!
Jenny: Hey, I will be the queen, not YOU!!
Stepmother: Okay, girls. You must put on your most beautiful dress and make up immediately!
Cinderella: (carefully walking)Mum, I want to go to the party, too. Helen Jenny: You? Look at yourself, so dirty and so ugly. (laughing) Cinderella（look at her stepmother who standing the front of mirror）：Mum，please, can I…
Stepmother: Girls, are you ready? Let's go. Cinderella, you are so dirty and ugly that you haven’t any excuse to go. And you must do your housework FIRST! Good night!! (They go outside and Cinderella sit down the ground with crying)
(Dog and cat ,birds coming)
Cinderella: （looking them）Oh, my friends. I really want to go. What shall I do?
Animals: Don't be so sad, Cinderella. At least, we are with you. If we can help you, we will do our best!
Cinderella：Oh，my friend，thank you very much. But I haven’t any beautiful dresses now! What can I do? WHO can help me?
Fairy:（turn on by dancing）Poor girl, let ME help you. You need a carriage, you need a coachman, you need some horses, you need a bellboy, and you need a beautiful dress.
(After everything is changed)
Cat:Wow, how beautiful! You're the most beautiful girl I've EVER seen. Dog: Yes! You will be the most beautiful girl in the party! （hand in hand）
Bird: Yes! You will be the most beautiful lady in this party! And Prince Edward will love you at once! （fly round and round）
Fairy: Now, Cinderella, go to the party and dance with the prince. But remember you must come back before 12 o'clock. REMEMBER, 12 o’ clock! Or you will change back into now.
Cinderella: Thank you, kind fairy. (pushing outside)
Fairy: (shouting)Be careful! Don't forget the time!
Cinderella:: I won't forget. (jump into carriage)Good bye, kind fairy and my dear friends!!
Act 2:
Scene 1:In the palace
Minister: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the prince-dancing ball. This night, our worshipful Prince Edward（Prince is coming）will select the most beautiful and kindest girl to be his queen .Now, young girls, come to the front, please! Highness，how are they? Which one do you like?
Prince: （knit his brows）Mmm…I don’t think they are… (Cinderella suddenly comes in)
Minister: Wow! How beautiful THAT girl is! （everyone look back）She's like a fairy. She's like an Angel. She's so lovely. She's like a princess. Prince:(walk toward Cinderella ) Pretty lady, may I be honored to dance with you?
Cinderella : I'd love to. (dancing)
(The ringing of the 12 o'clock)
Cinderella: Oh, it's time to go back. I must go now. I am sorry that I cannot dance with you any more, sir! (running)
Prince: Wait, miss, please wait! (catching up with her)
Cinderella：(loosing one shoes)Good bye, sir!
Prince: (pick up the shoes)Pretty lady! Why are you leaving? I must find you!! Soldiers!！
Soldiers: Yes!!
Prince: Take this shoe to every house and let all the young girls have a try tomorrow morning. You must find the girl for me. FAST!
Soldiers: Yes, highness!
Scene 2:Garden
Cinderella:（lose the magic）Oh…He was gentle, he was handsome, oh!
I cannot forget him… I love him! But I hadn’t found Prince Edward and danced with him ye t…
Bird: Cinderella, don’t you know? The man who danced with you was
PRINCE EDW ARD!!
Cinderella:REALLY?? My goodness!! （amazed）Oops, I am sorry…I haven’t done the housework! Mum, Helen and Jenny will back soon! They will be angry! See you soon, buddies!
Act 3
Scene 1:House
（knocking）Soldier:Good morning, madam.
Stepmother: Good morning. What’s the matter, sir?
Soldier: Are there any young girls in this house, madam? The pretty lady lost her shoe in the palace. The prince wanted to find her and marry her. Stepmother:（smiling）Of course, sir, wait a minute!（call for her daughter）Helen: （running hurried）Let me try. The shoe is mine.（try on the shoes) Soldier: No, It's not yours. It's too small for you.
Jenny: （shouting）It's mine. I AM the queen. Let me try it.（try on the shoes）
Soldier: No, it's not yours; it's too big for you.
Stepmother: Hey, sir, maybe it's mine. Let me have a try.
Soldier:Oh, please, it couldn't be YOURS. Are there any other girls in this house?
Cinderella: Good morning, gentlemen, may I try it? （coming）Stepmother:You? That’s impossible!
Helen: Look at yourself, PLEASE!
Jenny: So dirty and so ugly! Please not to waste the solders’ time! Soldier: Oh, ladies, let her try! Prince Edward said that all the young girls should have a try. Here, young girl, try it on, please!
Cinderella:（try on it）Thank you!
Stepmother, Helen and Jenny：It couldn’t be Cinderella! It couldn’t be!! Maybe there’s something wrong, sir! （shouting）How did it happen? It is not true!! (pass out)
Soldier: Wonderful! It's yours! It fits for you very well! Pretty queen CINDERELLA!!
Scene 2:Palace
Soldier: Highness! We have found the beautiful girl.
Prince: Really? That's wonderful! I'll come at once.
Fairy: My child, happy time is coming. Let me help you the last time. Prince: Oh, my dearest princess, I love you, go with me and be my queen, OK? (Cinderella say nothing but nodding and hug each other）Animals: Happy forever, Cinderella! We wish you HAPPY FOREVER!! The story finished. Cinderella found her happiness. She and Prince Edward got married! And that brings us to the end of the play. Thank you and let us wish Cinderella and Edward happy forever!
